Our family is not too big on shows, maybe see one or two at the Magic Kingdom. Which two are not to be missed. We will be going at the end of September and there will my husband and me (27 and 26), my in-laws (in their 50's) and my son (a little over 3 years of age).

It depends somewhat on how you define a 'show'.

My favorite attraction of the show type in the MK is Mickey's Philharmagic. Don't miss it.

The other shows, the live type, are on the stage in front of the castle.
Characters bounce around on the stage while tellling a simple story.
I personally don't like standing there in the big crowd waiting for the show, then watching the show, then getting out of the crowd to move on.
My wife, however, loves the castle shows so we stand there in the big crowd waiting for the show, watching the show, and then moving on.

Sometimes there's a stage show over in Tomorroland near the Carousel of Progress but usually not.

Just my thoughts.
Have fun.

Ditto on Mickey's Philharmagic. It's the type of show that your whole family will enjoy. We love all the 3-D show in WDW.

Philharmagic is terrific. I'm not huge on the Country Bears though. I used to like it as a kid, but the last time I saw it, I was pretty bored.

If you have seen it before, I would certainly check it out.

Do you mean WDW or MK?

I wouldn't consider many things in MK "shows". I define them more as attractions vs rides. Shows to me we would be more like whats at DHS like Beauty/Indy/Motors/Fantasmic. There isn't much like that at MK.

I wouldn't suggest you to skip anything. haha. but maybe the Hall of Presidents might not be up your alley.
