Can anyone of you seasoned veterans help me out with a little epcot history?! I was just having a talk with my family and we could not remember when they first opened norway? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I think it was 1994, if I remember correctly. Too bad my Biernbaum book is on the other end of the house, or I'd whip it out and look it up in there.

Uhm.... I dont know where you guys are getting your data from but..

According to history, Harald Fairhair gathered the small kingdoms into one in 872AD with the Battle of Hafrsfjord. He became the first king of a united Norway

Yep, because WoL opened in 89. I remember that my very first trip on Maelstrom was while WoL was still being constructed and being so disappointed that we couldn't ride Body Wars because it sounded like the most awesome ride ever.
