I'm disappointed not to ride it during my next trip:( and i still like Frozen
Well, think of it this way. If you went within 6 months of its opening, you would probably spend half a day in line for a ride that may have lots of issues and stoppages. You'll get your chance. They didn't ruin an entire epcot pavilion for a temporary change. And based on Epcot's track record, it will be there longer than anyone wants it.

Because the flow from star wars to toy story will be amazing? I say DHS because it could be more adaptable than MK, especially for a franchise that is definitely not going to have the legs that they expect it to. Frozen 2 will not be nearly as successful and it will signal the beginning of the end of their investment in this IP.
And you know this how? Did you time travel to the future? Maybe it won't be quite as successful as the highest grossing animated film of all time, or it could go on to be even more successful, I mean we won't really know until it comes out....

For those that may be having issues with the picture/website it says:

Board an ancient Norwegian vessel and sail through Arendelle’s fantastical world of Frozen—coming summer 2016!
An All-New Family Friendly Attraction
Come and celebrate a very special “Summer Snow Day” with Queen Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and friends.

Welcome to Frozen Ever After, an unforgettable adventure where you’ll be whisked away for an on-the-water journey through Arendelle—one set to the tune of your favorite songs from Frozen!

Let It Go All Over Again

The adventure begins on the docks of Arendelle, as seen in the classic animated film. After finding a seat aboard your boat, feel an Olaf-inspired smile frost across your face when the lapping waters take you right into the frozen willow forest.

Soon, you’ll be rubbing shoulders with some “boulders”—a.k.a. Kristoff’s family from Troll Valley—before bracing for the cold. High up in the icy blue world of the North Mountain, Queen Elsa’s enchanting ice palace awaits! Behold the wonder… and keep an eye out for a few moreFrozen friends too.

Finally, hang on tight as you glide back down into the Bay of Arendelle and conclude this “Summer Snow Day” celebration in style—complete with many of your favorite Frozen tunes!

Royal Sommerhus
“For the first time in forever”—you’re invited to meet with Anna & Elsa inside a cozy summer cabin. Located at the Norway Pavilion in Epcot, Royal Sommerhus is the perfect place to pose for pics and share a warm embrace with the royal sisters from Frozen before heading on to other amazing adventures!

I agree. My suggestion with the Falcon was tongue-firmly-in-cheek. Up until now, the re-skins of legacy Epcot attractions has been subtle or unnoticeable from the outside. The Norway facade is going to look cartoonish based on the construction pics.

Edit: I'm referring to bringing characters to Living Seas and Mexico.
I don't think the exterior facades are going to look cartoony at all. However, I expect once you get inside that the transition will be jarring.

The previous structures in the pavilion were inspired by real-world architecture. The new structures are going to be inspired by the film. I can't imagine they won't clash.

The concept art made it look like the exterior would draw from real life while the interior would draw from the movies. If they exterior facades draw from the movie than I hate this project even more.

I hope not, but the color washes and building style on the new M&G structures look quite different. I'll wait and see, but the whole thing might even appear anachronistic as well as architecturally mismatched.

Disney should just keep going. All of the pavilions need their own Animation dark ride. And Deadpool is Canadian. So there's room for Marvel, too.

its meant to look like a Norwegian village, not the main pavilion fortress, and its still under construction not finished. ...no comment on the second remark. :banghead:

As long as it looks Norwegian from the outside I guess I'll be fine with it since I'll never go inside anyway. I'll always wonder how a new country could've gone there and of course my obligatory salute to Maelstrom as I walk by.

I'm perplexed why they needed to ruin Maelstrom when they were going to use one of the spare country plots for the new construction. Just put in a whole new attraction for the kiddies and leave Maelstrom for the adults. And since the impatient would be next door at the Frozen ride, leave the theater doors closed while the Norway film is running.

Personal preferences aside, why don't you think that this is going to be a classic when its one of the most successful WDAS films since the Renaissance?
