Terrell Owen's injury was worse than it was made out to be. He's gonna require surgery. The Eagles are going to have to go into the playoffs without him. There is a chance TO can return in the Superbowl, if the Eagles make it. This is a dark day in Philadelphia. The dream season could be over. :(

Entire city of Detroit: "Oh BOO FREAKIN HOOO!!"

:lookaroun

Even though if it came down to it...he'd be a major threat against the Patriots...I hope he returns quickly because the Eagles deserve to be able to put their best on the field for the way they've played this season.

Vince...look at Curt Schilling.

Our hopes were gone...we kept the faith and kept believing in the Sox...and through some sort of miracle...he was able to play...and play at top capacity. Let's hope this happens with T.O. (The last thing we would want to do is sign a bandage or cast with a Sharpie)

While I'm not even close to being a T.O. fan, I don't wish ill will on anyone. Injuries are part of the game and a test for a championship team is how they adjust to adversity and/or injury. Are the Eagles bigger than T.O.? We'll find out.

If you want me, I'll be in the corner weeping over my Superbowl dreams.

Okay, I'll set my sarcasm aside and realize how much this means to you for just a minute... but only just one!! and say that if anybody has a chance for recovery, it's TO. I don't know anybody who's dedicated themselves to their sport and their physical well being like he has. He's got the physical and mental stuff to pull through this... don't give up yet!!

NFL.com just posted a story saying he may miss the entire postseason.

I'll say this: If the Eagles can't get through the namby-pamby NFC without TO, I wouldn't feel too sorry for them. If the Panthers don't make it, the Packers and Falcons are the only teams that I think could beat Philly, and we already saw what the Eagles did to Green Bay and Atlanta is just too erratic to take seriously, I think.

I know, things change in January, but the Eagles are still clearly the conference's best team, IMO.

oh my gosh

i just found out

i am immediately depressed

i'm going to need therapy! I need support from my Eagles buddies.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is almost as bad as if we were to lose Donovan.

I'm in complete shock and my STUPID boyfriend e-mailed me to tell me by writing "T.O.'s out for the season..... HEE HEE HEE HA HA HA HA HA HEE HEE HEE HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

What a christmas this will be. i just want to make it TO the superbowl.
i know we "could" still make it.........but this sucks and our chances just got slim.

Race traitor! Destruction of Aryan culture! Ickiness, even!

(Sorry, I stumbled across a discussion forum last week decrying the evil of TO's tryst with Nicolette. I haven't quite washed my brain of it all yet.)

(P.S.: If anyone was offended by this clearly ridiculous little post, PM me and I will be glad to pretend to care.)

Negative's - 1. As a fellow Eagles fan and Philly area resident, you just KNEW something was going to go wrong on the way to Jacksonville !!!!!!!

2. Freddie Mitchell and Todd "lookout" Pinkston are the wide receiver options.

3. Opposing D's will key in on Westbrook.

Positive's - 1. NFC is weak. They should be able to handle anything up to the
Bowl. No NFC team really concerns me.

2. TO's work ethic. TO will defy the medical odds. From what i've heard so far, if the Eagles get to the Bowl, it could be possible for him to get back. And do you think TO is going to miss that oppurtunity for attention ???

3. Maybe, maybe, maybe Greg Lewis and Billy Mcmullen will step up as who would've thought it guy's.

Ok Ok.........your positives do make me feel a little better. THanks
one Negative you forgot is that C.Lewis can't catch a ball even when thrown into his numbers!!!! Although he surprised me this week by catching a TD pass. Maybe that is a sign of him stepping up? I saw Donovan will now need to run a LOT more. I was yelling "RUN! RUN DONOVAN!" several times before he finally did decide to run...........and it worked out so well. He has to do that more to confuse the opposing defense.

ha ha! too funny

I just think we all should PRAY A LOT now!
Pray that T.O. gets better to play in Superbowl....
Pray that NO ONE ELSE gets hurt..........
Pray that we PLAY OUR BEST........
and Pray that the other teams don't! :)

If Carolina makes the playoffs, we are in trouble! They'll be the number 6 seed and be hot enough to win the Wild Card round. Then that means they'll play us in the Divisional. Without TO, they're gonna slap around our receivers again!

Say we make the Super Bowl, without TO, we don't stand a chance against the Steelers, Patriots, or Colts. And even with TO, he won't be 100%. He wont be able to pull off the plays he normally can do. It looks bad. It really just looks bad. :(
