Then why don't they just close it all together?? That building could have been used to expand Monster's Inc into a ride and not some interactive clone of Turtle Talk.

I dont think I have ever eaten there. Always see it, never see it open. Yet they say it opens in the Summer.

It must close when I walk in the park. :veryconfu

its actually a pretty good place to eat, but when we ate there, the lines weren't long and I don't think there was too many people in the building. It was kind of nice to not have to fight a line just to get a little bit of food.

Not old, just vintage.
In April 2005 I actually got to eat there on one of the few days it is open. I liked the food. I just dont understand why the converted one of the larger food areas to the Noodle station. :hammer:

We stopped for an afternoon snack there last Thanksgiving. We had the Pad Thai and it was very good. We were hoping to stop and get it again sometime, but now they have removed it from the menu. I really liked it since it is one of the few places you can get Asain inspired food.

Why didn't they just use the old Adventureland Veranda for the noodle station? Would have fit the theme much better, and could have been open more often...

Just close the thing for good and use the upstairs space for the new attraction in the TK spot (If that is possible to do).

We ate there once about a year or so ago and the food was not bad. It was just nice to have a differnet choice of fast food service from the regular, burgers, chicken, pizza, etc. Plus we love anything Asian.

I really wonder why it keeps closing? Is it not well attended because of the food choices? Or some other reason. Although I would hate to see it turned into the same food choices as some of the other stations, I would rather see it open and being used than just shut down.

Of course another attraction would be even better!:D But I doubt that would happen for the reasons stated by others.

I'm sure it was closed again so it wouldn't take away guests from the new McDonalds stand...<img src="http://www.sketchyorigins.com/comics/images/smilies/screwy.gif">

The food, despite a few good reviews, is generally known by the Cast and guests to be horrid. That's why it's always closed.

If that is the case, then why not reopen the restaurant under a different name and change the menu? Perhaps a place to get subs, sandwhiches, and salads. It seems like both this space and the Adventureland Veranda space could be put to better use and increase dining capacity.

The Adventureland Veranda is now mostly a glorified conference room or convention space. It is used frequently by the company and outside companies who rent it. I don't expect it to reopen.

I think when they changed to the noodle-setup they had to change the kitchen equipment, otherwise it wouldn't really need to close to do the changeover. It's just plastic menu boards really theme-wise. So, for the moment, they're stuck making hat they can with the kitchen stuff they installed there.

While I was intrigued about the changeover to the Asian menu, that building is one of the ugliest on property. What were they thinking.:hurl:

The main reason is the guest are just not purchasing enough, the reason why?...I can't say, some guest like it...some don't. The restaurant has had numerous menu changes and nothing has worked.

So to sum it all up when the guest don't purchase enough product to make the locations budget, that location is closed.
Yet, they are putting a McDonalds in Fantasyland.

That should tell them something. (put in a restaurant that sells what people want to buy!!)

We were there in Sept. 2005 and it was closed and we were looking forward to eating there this time when we go in May-- so by summer, I am assuming that is well into June, right? It most likely will not be open in May then?

I call shenanigans, the noodle bowls, and pot stickers I've had on several occasions were delicious.
