sounds great. I was there last week, and same thing, not much wait at all..the big crowds around easter time have officially died down back to normal...I was there the day they put up the signs for the space mountain closure at MK...so sad...the sign said space mountain will not be launching anymore until Winter 2009.

Dumbo was the longest wait ... what does that say about MK??? lol (ahem, WDI .. new E-Ticket please)

Could be alittle misleading considering that the rides that normally have long waits weren't mentioned:

BTMRR
Splash
Peter Pan
Astro Orbitor

Also, Test Track wasn't mentioned at Epcot and the only thing mentioned about Soarin was how long the fastpass transaction took..

hmmm...just putting that out there.

True. Though I was surprised at walking on to HM (unless it was very late in the day, which that does tend to be a time where it happens).

In either case, it shows promise that the last week of April is far better than the 3rd week of February as far as pre or post spring break. Even the mentioned rides had a line when we were there the 17th-24th of Feb. All of Fantasyland had 50+ minute waits for us. They had the temporary rope queuing for Small World out with the person holding the "wait time" sign.

good points. Despite what some of those "in the knows" say on here, the crowd levels have seemed alot heavier this Feb and March. We've been going 2-3 weekends a month for 3 years now and this year we cut that down alittle over the past couple months because of the higher crowd levels.

HM is very efficient at managing its queue though...but even so, you would expect lines to be heavier with Space Mountain closed. Anyway...for the most part (with the exception of the week before and after memorial day) crowds should be on the lighter side from now through about the 2nd Week of June. Then it'll be heavy through about the 3rd week of August.

We will be down there end of next week so all this no line talk is awesome...thanks for the info

Touringplans predicted that the crowds would fall off this week but come right back on friday - with 8's and 9's every day for the foreseeable future. I guess we will know soon enough whether this is grounded in reality or not.

So glad to hear this! Here's hoping the crowds stay this low for a few more weeks. I'm anxious to see what May 1st brings - as crowds are supposed to go back up again. Thanks for posting - glad you had a great trip

Disneyworld Today

Eating at Teppan Edo tonight and will hope to have pictures and comments up later tonight...Today at EPCOT went on Great Movie Ride with at most a 5 min wait, (I thought they were going to change the ride but it is all the same and the kids love it)....Star Tours no waiting and the American Idol show was FANTASTIC!!! This is a 'Do Not Miss"...and the guy who won was unbelievable....

The Beauty and the Beast show was 50% full and Tower of Terror wait times were 13 minutes....we got fast passes for later tonight along with Toy Story....

The weather is mid 80s and WINDY which is keeping the comfort level very very high...does not feel hot at all!:)

Pictures posted soon....

Hello Forum from wonderful (and STILL not crowded) Disneyworld! I am having issues with my server and placing my blog....will try again later tonight....

The place is still not very crowded and the weather is PERFECT! There is still a strong easterly wind and unless you want to play golf and don't like wind, it is fantastic to have a constrant breeze.

Too many positives to list...from the food....no wait rides....to the all of the employees, ahem cast members, everyone has been great. I am keeping track of all the rides (+'s and -'s), food/resturants, and overall comments....as well as taking pictures of various interesting views...

More later....

Oh, the Toy Story Ride is by far the best ride to date for families!!! We got on with about a 5 min Fast Pass wait (the line for stand by was out the door and down the street)....I thought I was the king of our family as I scored 70% accuracy...only to find out my final score of 53,500 was third in the family behind our 13 y/o daughters 117,500 and 10 y/o sons 97,800! DONT MISS THIS RIDE...

One thing of interest to all newbies coming to Disneyworld.....Dont be like the family we had dinner with at Teppan Ebo who has been to DW two times before but still thought they had to use the Fast Passes during the hour on their slip.....He told me he has thrown away two ride fast passes so far, because they didnt make it back in time,,,,,his jaw hit the table when I told them they were good all day from the time they become active.....

Off to EPCOT for dinner...:p
