We always grab McD's fries at the carts for a quick snack while on the go. Not too big of a deal if they decide to take it away but we do love their fries.:)

We LOVE to go to Disney and eat the food. We look forward to that. We do eat at our favorites but we also try many new places every year. This year we only ate at one familiar one and the other six were new to us. Disney is known for their amazing food and should get the credit they deserve for it.

I agree with the above post that a lot of tourists go for what they know but a lot do not...especially us experienced Disney diners. (I also try a new restaurant every time I am in Manhattan, though I am only there about four times a year.)

The reason they're renovating IASW in Disneyland is because all of the fat people who ride in the boats caused them to drag across the ground. It's good Disney is taking an option away from the sickly obese people. Now if WDW only had as many healthy snack stands (fruits and veggie packs) as Disneyland....

As for the merits of McD's at WDW, give the people what they want. And sometimes, people want what's familiar. WDW does a great job of offering variety in restaurants. Nothing wrong with offering familiarity as well.

My thoughts exactly. Sometimes, you just don't feel like experimenting and you just want a Big Mac!

I'm under the impression they took MickeyDs out of Disnehyland simply because Disneyland is smaller and thus, you're able to hop onto a car and drive out to a nearbye Mcdonalds off property. WDW on the otherhand is almost twice the size of Manhattan *Or so they say on Travel Channel* and so, hoping into a car and finding a place like Mcdonalds off property would be a little more difficult.

I thought it had to do with something that they didn't really make public.
Probably both Disney and McDonalds wanted a good slice of the profit pie and neither side was giving in.
