We encountered the excessive talking through a ride on our most recent trip. We were on "Its a Small World" and the guy behind us talked on his cell phone the entire time. He was speaking another language and was soo loud! We got so irritated that we turned around and took his picture (in a not so obvious manner). His kids looked miserable and he just chatted the entire ride! Why get on the ride if you are gonna talk on a cell phone the entire time. They need to start saying: No drinking, eating, smoking, flash photography and No cell phone use. If you feel you need to use your cell phone, please see a cast member for assistance.

This was the second time we took a photo of someone who bothered us. A rather tall lady, foreign as well, stood right in front of us ontop of a planter as we waited for Spectromagic . We had been waiting for over 30 mins and she walks right up and blocked my 5 year olds view. She was tall enough she didn't need the planter to stand on. We took a picture of her backside. :D

Hey... it makes us laugh. If you annoy us on a ride or rudely block our view, we will take your picture!

The worst is people who talk on their cell phones during a ride or the whole time waiting in line for a ride. I have had to deal with someone yapping on their cell phone on the Backlot Tour and It's a Small World.

You do raise a good point here. It reminds me of this friend I have who, any time someone is tailgating him, he'll slow down to a crawl instead of just getting over into the next lane. I know he does it thinking that he is somehow teaching the tailgater a lesson. But what are the odds that tailgater is going home and thinking, "Gosh that driver in front of me really put me in my place. I sure was wrong to do that." Plus, I'm always worried that one of these days someone will pull a gun on him or something.

I tap my breaks, it usually gets them to back off. If not, i have wonderful insurance coverage.

Yes, especially here in Florida, where you can now keep a gun locked in your car glove compartment! :dazzle: :brick:

But that's for a different discussion. Going back to our regularly scheduled thread.

I don't have to justify my actions to you and the best part is that I really don't give a crap what you think, i was just sharing an anecdotal story which I found humerous.

She was annoying, i had gotten her to stop blinding everyone else in the boat (she was row 1, i was row 2, the other rows clapped when she stopped).

So tell me, which insurance company do you have? So I can tell them that their insured client is committing insurance fraud.

I'm curious what the picture-taking part is all about.

We gotta be careful around this guy, I think he thinks he's The Punisher or something. :drevil:

I wonder, do you have any friends off these boards? Seriously. With a mentality like that, it makes me wonder.

I mean, I don't care what people think about me either. But I do try to restrain what I say, lest I think less about myself for stooping to that level.

By saying publicly that you will not stoop to that level, you actually are.

I wish that people would just STOP turning every thread into a bickering match! Knock it off already!

...and yes, it is terribly annoying when people talk through a show

I, like most people, get annoyed by guests talking throughout a show or ride. But to tell you the truth, if I were at WDW and I witnessed a CM handling it the way you describe how you do it, I would find that CM very unprofessional. Surely there must be better, more "Disney-like", way's to handle this type of situation.

if you hate cm's that much dont go to disney
