I am overwhelmed. I just read this entire thread and the tears did not stop. Thank you to everyone who followed my adventure. Joel and Coryna, I will personally talk to you later. You are true friends.
I am happy with my 460 miles. It took Willy (my running mentor and previous 500 winner) to tell me I had to stop. I was destroying myself. I pushed myself over the limit and my body stopped working. That's the only thing that will stop me.
I came off of that mountain a different man. A better man. Report soon, but for now, thank you all. Much love.

Glad you are getting back to yourself, welcome back. I really admire what you have done but am glad you survived it foremost.

Cant wait to talk to you. Call anytime if you feel like it. Ill admit this Nick, when i was getting updates and reports to post here, I was overwhelmed as well and sometimes tearing up with happiness for you. Sam was hooked mid week and was asking a few times a day. Looking back, I would have loved to have been there, but I think you were better off with the professionals of TAC pacing you.

BTW, loved the video from Irene and the time mix up. That made me laugh pretty good.

Nick - I'm so in awe of your accomplishments. I don't even drive that far if I can avoid it!

Great to hear from you, now get rested up.

Oh, as I watched the ISS fly over my house last night (which I do anytime it flies over my area), I realized you ran to the ISS and back.

Just sayin.

The Machine! I would make fun of the tan lines, but out of respect for the 460, I will pass this time. Just this time though.

Glad to see you alive and kicking! Can't believe what you did, it's incredible. And it sounds like it changed you in a good way inside, which is awesome.

This picture makes me laugh. Nick looks so strong here, and the environment looks so beautiful and lush, that it makes it seem like he was out for a casual Sunday run in the woods. LOL.

So Nick, how's that race report coming? :D
Environment was beautiful...but it was a nightmare during the torrential down pours for four days. And the terrain was technical and the inclines were just insane. That pic was the last few hundred yards of coming into HQ...those were welcome times!

Elevation profile of what I ran, 46 times. The course was changed last minute, so studying maps and researching the course for months was useless. A few bushwhacks with pickers and poison ivy was interesting...
