It ain't over yet! We still got a couple weeks to go...

Woops, I guess I should have specified about the Vikings game. Seems like most of the national media fell in love with the Vikings since they beat up on a bad Packers defense and figured without TO the Eagles shouldn't even bother showing up. Especially 2 or 3 bozo's on Espn that just can't seem to give the Eagles credit for ANYTHING. I can take criticism about my Birds and all that, but these guy's just plain bash for the sake of bashing.

Peyton finally met a defense...
Scott...looks like the secondary was good enough afterall.

Did you actually think the weather would be GOOD in Foxboro?

Thank you Patriots...Thank you once again.

Gillette Stadium is definitely not Peyton's Place.

Next stop...The Steel Curtain.

The Colts just can't catch a break on that field. Snow again?!?!?! What are the chances of that happening. Oh well. I'm very disapointed right now, but I'll give the Patriots credit for the win. There is no doubt in my mind they won't win it all this year.

For all those that thought the Eagles couldn't win without TO, may I just say:
AGREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was GREAT! It just topped off my already exciting weekend. :) Now I must prepare a pep-rally tape to play at the school that I teach in. Eagles Day on Friday!!!!! :D

We've beaten Atlanta in the playoffs before pre-T.O. and we'll do it again!

Funny about that "snow".... I was at my parent's house that is about 15 minutes from the stadium...and it barely snowed here...but a blizzard in Foxboro. (I think Bill put snowmakers on the roof of the stadium)

Well they were calling for clear skies all week long and then they cut to a live scene on the NFL Today about 30 minutes before the game started and I said "They're screwed".

I hate it for my man Peyton. It's just like Florida all over again :brick:

Yep Brian, they pulled it off. 100% credit to NE and the weather!

My Pitt/ATL prediction still rings true.

NO NO NO!
PHILLY WILL BEAT ATLANTA!

As much as I want it to be PHilly/Pitt in the Superbowl, I think more than likely it will be Philly/NE

But definately PHILLY! :D

It was looking very very grim...(Ask Jill...I told her that I thought Indy would pull it off).

Then...a miracle happened...blankets of white fell from the skies........only around Gillette Stadium (or...the RAZOR as we like to call it).

I said, while watching the game yesterday, that people who only watch the playoffs must think MA is a crappy place to live. Year after year the weather is crappy for the playoffs. (Thank you Mr. Kraft for not building a dome!)

My quote came out completely wrong. I ment to say there is no doubt in my mind that the Patriots WILL win the Super Bowl this year. I think they will kill the Steelers and they will beat whichever bird makes it to the SB. My bad there.

HEY! :lookaroun

So...a pirate walks up to an Indian and says, "Arr matey...how much for yer corn?"

The Indian says, "Ah...a buck an ear."

LMAO! We were talking about those jokes at work, and we realized that there are no good pirates jokes. They're ALL cheesy like that.

God is not an Eagles fan.

Wow, I got some crazy news this morning. It was funny, last night, my friend Chris told me "Everything favors the Eagles in this game. There's no way we should lose, but we somehow will." I just laughed and agreed. Today, I turned on the radio and our NBC weatherman Hurricane Schwartz was on. Why is a weatherman on sports radio? He said he cannot be completely sure until a day or two before the game, but many of the models show a snowstorm coming on Sunday. Not just any snowstorm, a Nor'easter, a blizzard! *cue mouth drop* We haven't had any snow yet this year and of all days to start, you pick the NFC Championship game?! You'd think this would favor us, since the Falcons are a dome team, but it doesn't. We're not the Patriots, we don't play in the snow. In fact, the hosts were saying it has never snowed in Philly for an Eagles game in the last 30 years. This takes away our deep passing and kicking game. Weathermen have been wrong before but if they're right this time, that turns this game into battle between the trenches. That's not the Eagles' game, the Falcons are the rushing team. The Eagles don't run, we have the Mike Martz philosophy. "Run? Huh? Wha? What's that?" Oh man, oh man, oh man. This is not good.

If we win the Superbowl this year, it's gonna be a season for the ages. I'll be telling my grandkids about this.

It will be an Eagles / Pats superbowl.

TO will return and the Eagles will finally, finally, finally defeat teh demonds that haunted us since 1980. When all 4 pro sporting teams went to teh championship and only one won.

1980 Stanley Cup, NY Isles over Flyers
1980 NBA Championship (Someone, Lakers?) beat the Sixers
1980 Super Bowl Raiders beat Eagles
1980 World Series - Phillies over KC Royals.
