Truthfully? I think the pats are gonna take it, beating the eagles in the superbowl.

My dream scenario? Peyton and Co. beat the broncos, pats, then steelers, then the eagles. With Peytons regular season, then if he did this in the playoffs, he would have to be considered one of the greatest of all time,.

Superbowl:

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Green Bay Packers- Winner being the Steel Curtain.

(And this is coming from a die-hard PATS FAN!!!!!!)

(No, this doesn't mean I'm not rooting for the Patriots...of course I am. This is just a prediction).

(BTW Vince...you're always the one that complains when people pick the "easy" choice and goes with the favorites...EEK! You have two #1 seeded teams in the Super Bowl!!! (Is the world coming to and end? ))
Just kidding

EDIT: I'd just like to say that I'd really like to see the Colts win it this year so that Peyton can cap off the record-setting year with a ring.

Hmph! I didn't even notice it until I finished it. That's just how it turned out. I tried changing it but that's how I think it will play out. I see the Patriots falling to the Colts cause I think Manning's a little tired of being the Pats' whipping boy. But I don't see the Colts winning both hard road games so the Steelers go. As for the NFC, I know I'm an Eagles fan but I keep looking at the other teams and they're all horrible. Seahawks, Rams, and Vikings? Please. Packers? Everyone think the Packers are always sooo good just cause they have Brett Favre and he's crazy. But the Packers are horrible, have you seen their defense all year? And Favre's just as likely to throw picks as TDs. Then there's the Falcons. Them, I can't quite pinpoint. They have the ability to be both great and terrible. They have a fantastic defense and the x factor in Vick. So I dunno. If any team poses a threat to the Eagles, it's them.

Superbowl:

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Atlanta Falcons - Hmmmm, tough choice. I think Big Ben slips up somewhere in the playoffs, perhaps it will be this game. Give me the Falcons.

Vince is right, Michael Vick is the x factor in all this. He has the ability to carry ATL all the way to the championship. I think Philly is hurting more with T.O. out that I thought they would. I think Peyton squeaks by the hurting New England secondary to advance, but won't handle Pittsburgh at home or the elements. The weather allows Pittsburgh to control the game on the ground.

See how much I am wrong!

We'll see how much that secondary is "hurting" (Ty Law and Tyrone Poole are ready)

Eagles without T.O. spell UH-OH. don't like their chances. Packers or Falcons will make it to the bowl (though Carolina probably had the best chance...but as Fox said they picked a bad day to have a bad day lol)

AFC....don't think anyone is more dominant than Pittsburgh. but the top 3 are Pitts, NE, and Indy. but i think it'll be Pitts all the way. NFC can't compete this year.

Not one of you picked the J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!!

What a game. The Jets won that game 3 times:

1) 4th and goal Brees throws the incomplete pass with 26 seconds left, but wait...Eric Barton decides to take a forearm to Bree's head for no reason. Roughing the passer leads to 1st down and the Chargers score a touchdown.

2) In OT the Jets line up and kick the field goal to win, but wait...Shottenheimer calls T/O before the snap and the Jets have to line up again.

3) Doug Brien then kicks the field goal to win.

Being a Jet fan, you always look for the worst outcome. You always check for the flag that will nullify a big play. You expect them to lose in OT. You always expect the kicker to miss the FG in OT. Somehow, they pulled it out. I'd rather see them play Pittsburgh than NE. They'll be an 8 - 9 point underdog, but hopefully they can catch Pitt. sleeping with them having the week off.

Just happy to still be in it.

*did I mention bitter and angry?*

What is Shottenheimer thinking? 15 yard penalty for running onto the field and not trying to get closer for the OT FG attempt.
