That injury to Rodgers sure scared me. All I could think is, this is the best team we've had in Rodgers' time here, and it's going to go to waste. But he looked good when he came back in, even with the calf injury. He'll have two weeks to rest, which should help a lot. But I'm glad we get a game at Lambeau. I wouldn't want to go to Dallas next week; they have the look of a team getting hot going into the post season. But then again, so do the Packers, Seahawks, and Panthers. Should be an entertaining post season!

Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers officially agree to part ways. It's expected that Harbaugh will end up coaching at Michigan with the monster contract they offered him.

Aaron Rodgers on doing a QB sneak with his calf injury: "I don't feel the quarterback sneak fell into the stupid category. He (Mike McCarthy) might disagree."

:D

So I just read that the Chiefs WRs managed to catch zero TDs this season... wow. Dwayne Bowe almost had one today, but fumbled on the 1-yard line and TE Kelce recovered it for a TD instead.

Some noteworthy news:

- Bears gut their staff, firing HC Marc Trestman and GM Phil Emery

- Ndamukong Suh has been suspended for the wild card game against Detroit for stepping on Aaron Rodgers' leg twice

- Jets fire HC Rex Ryan and GM John Idzik

- Falcons fire HC Mike Smith

- Giants tell Tom Coughlin that he wont be fired

With his history of dirty play he should get a fine and suspension stretching into next season.
At first I thought it was unintentional, but then when watching replays I changed my mind. When Rodgers pushed at him, he didn't even look back. The normal reaction would have been to acknowledge the push. And how he didn't even look down when he stepped on something... you know that your stepping on something, and the only thing to step on would be a player. I'm sure he'll deny everything, just like he's done in the past.

You can give someone the benefit of the doubt the first few times, but after the 9th or 10th time you have to think most of his incidents are intentional.

I'm satisfied where I ended my picks. I had a pretty good comeback from being down early in the season to finish 6th overall. My condolences to @NYwdwfan who looked so promising early on.

Ugggggggggg I missed not being in last place by 1 game.......even after posting a zero in a week. If I had just gone 8-8 in that missed week I would have been some where in the middle.

BTW looks like the Ravens backed in the playoffs, not sure how I feel about it. Yes I am happy they did but don't like our chances. The Ravens play the Steelers Saturday. Just not feeling it. Seahawks defense has been playing lights out. Seahawks vs Cowboys in the NFC championship........Broncos vs New England for the AFC. Patriots vs Seahawks for the title........2014 Super Bowl Champs? Seahawks. Let the pontificating begin.

So happy the Steelers won!
Bell and Brown are fantastic.

I guess hope isn't lost for this season.

I doubt they'll best the Ravens, though. :(

My final batch of pick ems were absolutely awful. And I started off the season doing so well. Not the year for fans of NY sports teams.

My picks for this weekend's playoffs are:
- Steelers over Ravens
- Colts over Bengals
- Cowboys over Lions
- And the 7-8-1 Panthers over the 11-5 Cardinals.

Some interesting pics you have there. Aaron Rodgers for MVP? I will give you Murray and Watt. I think you nailed it with Beckham also...but Donald for Defense? He didn't even make the pro bowl. Good player but I don't think he will be DROY. Ever hear of a kid named C.J. Mosely? Plays for the Ravens and was named pro Bowl starting MLB. I know I too might be biased, but getting the starting gig for MLB in the Pro Bowl for a rookie is a pretty big deal. I see a big NFC influence thru your pics.

I think Rodgers is the clear cut MVP. He's had a year similar to 2011 when he last won the MVP. Maybe not the eye-popping stats (not that his stats are anything short of spectacular), but he was much more in control, and he won against some very good teams. As amazing at JJ Watt is, his team didn't make the playoffs, and it would be a huge shock is a defensive player won MVP. He's not as valuable as Rodgers is.

As for Aaron Donald vs CJ Mosley, Mosley is a very good player and should be a good one for years to come. I wanted the Packers to draft him, but he was gone by the time they were on the clock. I don't put much merit into Pro Bowl nods anymore. It's all about name recognition and bias from fans. If the Pro Bowl wasn't chosen by fans, it'd have a lot more credibility. For example, when Jeff Saturday made it when he was with the Packers. He ended up being benched and did not have a good season at all, but the name recognition got him in. Mosley would definitely be worthy of DRotY, but Aaron Donald is certainly worthy as well. He had a great year.

I also believe the NFC is a stronger conference right now than the AFC. I believe the winner of the Super Bowl will come from the NFC, as long as it's the Seahawks, Packers, or Cowboys. The only other team I would be confident in giving it a good chance would be the Patriots, and maybe the Steelers if they catch fire. Most AFC teams have been up and down all year, and there have been some very consistently good teams from the NFC.
