Can you imagine if he continued to play poorly against the Bears and Vikings? It was actually a pretty bold and gutsy statement when you think about it.

Oh I absolutely agree! So many times these bold statements don't pan out. It's so cool when they do, though.

The Saints' big off-season acquisition of Jairus Byrd didn't pan out this year. He's been placed on season-ending IR.

So I heard former Jets (oh - and Chargers) RB LaDainian Tomlinson being interviewed on local radio this morning and they asked him how he would feel, confidence-wise, if Geno Smith were his QB. His answer was so funny. He first said he always approached games optimistically. He always felt his QB would have their best game, that he would have his best game, etc. Then he added "even when Sanchez was my QB" and I thought that was hilarious.

Rodgers has an edge, and I like it.

All guys that were passed over and drafted far below where they should have gone have an edge. Brady is another fine example.

I love Rodgers. I can only hope that one day I will have a QB with a portion of his talent.

When your QB created the butt fumble, it must be added.

A couple things:

- Matt Prater released by the Broncos

- Drew Stanton to start against the Broncos

At least Sanchez has given a generation of football fans something they will never forget... he will go down in the Hall of Fame of Bloopers

That he did!!

Ugh - I can't tell you how many times I'm watching historical highlights of amazing plays in a player's career and the Jets are the opposing team.
