Can't believe the Falcons came back, and came back again, made 4 defensive stops in the 2nd half, and 2 50+ yard field goals to win the game today. Both starting OT out.....are the Saints gunna be bad this year?

YES, Moreno. I have him on my fantasy team... I'll have to ponder starting him next week.
I got him off the waiver wire last year when he was with the Broncos. Him and Eddie Lacy took me from last to forth in time for the playoffs. Everyone said he would be irrelevant without Peyton, but I suspected he could be a great flex option. He runs himself hard and thought Miami could use him. Sadly someone got to him before I could in both my leagues.

Strange Day got stranger...

Copied and pasted from my Previous posts for week 1:

Okay Football fans, here are this weeks free picks:

Jets beat Raiders... Rex's Defense is gonna clobber the quarterback several times....
(YUP got this one right)
Titans beat Chiefs... Upset special here.... This one could make your weekend...(the number is a joke
(YUP I smell the money)
Bills VS Bears.... This is a pick'em game at best so keep your money out of it but for your eliminator take Bills Win
(YUP this was close but satisfying.)
Patriots beat Dolphins... The fish are gonna be lucky to put up 2 scores at home...
(NOPE could not have been more wrong.)
Saints beat Falcons.... This one will be close and maybe only a 3 point game...
(NOPE I was right on it being close but not on the result.)
Steelers beat Browns... This game will start the "Johnny Football" chants in Cleveland...
(YUP "Johnny Football" may be headed to the front row.)
Jaguars VS Eagles... This one is a pick'em game also... If I had to I'd take the Eagles....
(YUP Jaguars decided to stop scoring making me look genius.)
Bucs beat Panthers... Home team wins this game...
( NOPE That's what I get when I see a Value Win)
Broncos beat Colts... They are just bigger horses... When 2 teams are good, take the home team...
( Sunday Night... )
Ravens beat Bengals... Both Ohio teams experience loss this week....
(NOPE I was blinded by the Defense and forgot "Shane 'Footsteps' Flaco" can be Iffy.)
Texans beat Washington... RG3 is hemmed in this game... Texan fans get a well deserved win...
(YUP No brainer.)
Vikings beat Rams... During the pre-season this pick was the other way... Quarterbacks are your team...
(YUP I'll be making my living on Rams losses this season.)
Cowboys beat 49ers... Too many missing pieces on the road... Cowboys fans will celebrate 1 of 8 wins....
( NOPE Can you say turn overs are bad? )
Lions beat Giants... Eli does not have a handle on the new offense...Giants lose but will learn plenty...
(Monday Night)
Cardinals beat Chargers... Cards at home are tough to beat...These guys showed each other nothing pre-season.
(Monday Night)
These are my picks and I'm sticking with 'em...

7 Wins and 5 Losses.... hmmmm...

One day! I know this game is being hyped as a huge game, but I think it's being overplayed. Yes, it's a big game, but it's the first game of the season. It's not going to be the end of the world for whomever loses. But if the Packers win I know I'm going to be pumped. Partly because it's the season opener, and partly because it's going to confirm that the Packers can play with the toughest. Not that I didn't believe that before. I'm also excited to see how our revamped defense looks. I have high hopes for them this year with Julius Peppers at DE/OLB and Micah Hyde at safety. I'll also be eager to see how they use Ha Ha Clinton-Dix as the third safety. And then I'm also excited to see how Dom Capers uses this defense now that he has the players to execute the schemes he loves to run. It's also a plus that we're healthier at the start of the season than we have been in years. Should be a good game. No more speculation, now it's for real. The baloney stops now.

That last sentence was a Vic Ketchman (Packers writer) quote, except he doesn't say baloney.
Yea I didn't understand the hype. It was a good game and I was a little starstruck with Aaron Rodgers and Eddie Lacy. I'm just excited the season has started and judging from today's games we are in for a season of surprises.

Anyone care to start a friendly wager when our teams play head to head? Loser has to sport the opposing team avatar for the day following the loss (and yes - I am fully aware @PUSH and I would square off next week).

I'll take you up on that! :D

(I like the Jets, BTW... so I won't be mad wearing that avatar.)

This week was pretty "chalk,' in regards to the pick-em, lame!

Can't believe the Raiders couldn't stay on top... would have loved to got that one right!

Nick Foles scared the crap out of me today, thinking about officially benching him for the rest of the season, not putting myself through that again!

As usual, I went too bold with my picks this week. I switched the Carolina/Tampa Bay game as soon as I heard Newton wouldn't be playing. I'm kicking myself for that.

Week one is always the worst to overthink.

When I was in kindergarten my dad let me pick his office pool for week 1 as a goof. I won. He let me pick the rest of the season and we split the winnings. :D

We did a Pick'Ems type thing in my 8th grade social studies class for fun, and at the time I didn't know anything about football. Week 1 I ended up going 12-4 and was the winner in the class. I got candy or something. I also won about three other times. Those pick'ems are actually how I got interested in football!

Sometimes the more you know the less effective you are!

A kid in my kindergarten class had an NFL lunchbox - AFC helmets on one side, NFC helmets on the other. He would quiz me and gave me a Cheez Doodle for every right answer. That's how I learned about teams other than the Jets!

When I was in elementary school I used to think Vince Lombardi was the Packers head coach. Then in middle school I used to think he was their first coach. Then a little later in middle school I realized that that wasn't true either.

I thought the Packers played in Greenland.

The first week is when you learn the most about a team. Some things we are not surprised about and others we wonder what the heck!

Miami? WOW.....Did we really see that one coming?

Cleveland? Yea we seen that one coming.

Minnesota? Looks like they are on the upswing for sure.

Dallas? I thought they were going to be bad, but not that bad. SF has problems all over that team but looked as if they really havnt missed a step. Give Harbaugh some credit there.

Baltimore? My home town team. Steve Smith dropped 4 balls the first half a long with the rest of the receiver's catching a case of dropsies hurt more then anything else. This loss really had little to do with Flacco being in effective. Baltimore offensive line is greatly improved. Although the last two plays of the game would lead you to believe differently.

New England? I wished I could have watched that game, anyone who watched it please comment. Poor Brady....waaaaaaa waaaaaa

Denver? Did anybody really think the Colts would win that game? I will give them credit, the score was closer then I thought it would be. Now if the Colts played the Broncos in a playoff....the outcome might be different.
