He spells it bologna?
Yeah, let's go with that.

Here's one of his actual quotes of it. It's one of the many, he says it in the press box right before the opening kickoff of the season.

Zachary from Holland, MI

The baloney stops now.

Yes, it does, Zachary. The baloney stops now, except I won’t say baloney.

Yeah, doesn't generate quite the same excitement. Go Browns... ;)

there are some tough picks in week 1 with the QB changes...

The experts are kind of divided too.. I've bucked the trend in a few spots and hoping for one keen upset in particular between some 'horses' :)

I may have just changed my pick for that game, too. It's my second time changing it, so right now it is back to my original pick.

I'm suddenly feeling stressed. Between our friendly pickem pool here, another pickem for money and a knockout pool with an enormous pot I am second guessing every pick I made and making myself crazy!!!

Are you sure you made the right choice for tonight? You might want to rethink it.

Interesting, an advanced Microsoft computer program correctly chose 15/16 World Cup knockout stage winners correctly and it's again being used for the NFL season. Here are it's predictions
  • Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks — Seahawks win (74.2% chance)
  • New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons — Falcons win (61.4% chance)
  • Minnesota Vikings at St. Louis Rams — Rams win (67.4% chance)
  • Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers — Steelers win (70.2% chance)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles — Eagleswin (75.4% chance)
  • Oakland Raiders at New York Jets — Jets win (62.9% chance)
  • Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens — Ravens win (59.8% chance)
  • Buffalo Bills at Chicago Bears —Bears win (64.4% chance)
  • Washington Redskins at Houston Texans — Texans win (51% chance)
  • Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs — Chiefs win (64.4% chance)
  • New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins — Patriots win (61.4% chance)
  • Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Buccaneers win (56.6% chance)
  • San Francisco 49ers at Dallas Cowboys — 49ers win (68.8% chance)
  • Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos — Broncos win (77.8% chance)
  • New York Giants at Detroit Lions — Lions win (61.4%% chance)
  • San Diego Chargers at Arizona Cardinals — Cardinals win (58.2% chance)

Not the close game I was expecting, but it is what it is. They got the better of us. Not sure how the loss of BJ Raji played into stopping the run, but I know it couldn't have helped. I liked what I saw from Julius Peppers and Clinton-Dix. The game is now in the past, and it's time to focus on the Jets. Still a lot of season to go!

They killed themselves with some really dumb penalties. Hope that is being addressed this week before the Jets game

There were two or three penalties that gave Seattle a first down when they should have punted. Then there were a couple that took away a Packers first down. Each penalty seemed to come at a critical time, and often times it didn't even affect how the play went down. Also, I hate the roughing the punter penalty. It's pretty much asking the players to defy physics and stop their momentum.
