The Jaguars have announced new renovations that will be made to their stadium (EverBank Field). The plans include new endzone scoreboards measuring 55 by 301 feet, the largest of their kind in the world. The plans also include a platform area with swimming pools.

Sounds pretty neat. Too bad they don't have fans that will use these features.
Yeah, they also plan to lose 7,000 seats. Wise move.

301ft is huge.
Titans got new ones last year, 157 x 54ft.
And I thought those were big...

I just saw that. This one is definitely more plain, but I like it. I really didn't like the curviness (if that's a word) of the hat on the old logo. Side by side comparison of the two. Old on left, new on right.

Speaking of uniforms, I just saw on ESPN that the Patriots are allowing fans to trade in their Aaron Hernandez jerseys in exchange for another Patriot's jersey. The Hernandez jerseys will be destroyed.

(Good riddance)

There is quite a bit about this on the Aaron Hernandez Arrested thread. Some people were selling them on eBay for thousands of dollars only to find out they were "fake" offers.

And reportedly 1,500 were returned yesterday.

On a different note, the Cruz contract saga is done with! 5 yrs, over 45 million. Now hopefully, they can work out a deal for Nicks!

It's about time there's some actual football news. It comes by very slowly at this time of year. The first training camp starts in 13 days. Hopefully we can get some real new starting then!

So a lifelong Cleveland Brown fan died yesterday he was a 55 year old musician who apparently wrote songs for the team every year and sent them in along with advice on how to run the team. And his last request was for the pall bearers to be six brown players so "They could let me down one last time."

I'd be afraid that they'd fumble me.

That's so sad, but yet so funny. I don't know how to react to that. o_O

On a side note, my family is full of Redskins fans. So I wore Ravens gear. Then they were discussing the draft, and I said, "So when did the Red skins last win the Superbowl?" ;) My aunt responded "1991" off the top of her head. "Yeah..." I said.

I also have Steelers fans in my family. We have some interesting get togethers...

See the NFL isn't huge in our family we just like football. But man when OU is playing our house is pure chaos.

There are a lot of Bears fans here (they used to hold training camp just down the road from where I live), and they always think that the Bears are better than the Packers. Despite the fact that they have won one Super Bowl while the Packers have won 4, making it to 5. And they have more championships than any other team in NFL history with 13 victories. And the Packers have only lost to the Bears once since Jay Cutler took over as QB.

Hehe, jealous fans.
