Why would anyone hate the Jaguars, they literally haven't done anything noteworthy in the last 10 years lol
I was surprised by that, too. The Cowboys, I get. I even get the Packers at 13, but the Jaguars at 20 is something I'm baffled by.

Didn't get my pick em in for the Seattle game but I was leaning towards the Saints so it really wouldn't have mattered unless the saints make a comeback. I'm going with New England, Denver and San Francisco for the rest of these games

I just realized I chose upsets for the last 3 games. Hmm... don't know why, I'm just going with my gut.

My picks were the Seahawks, Pats, Niners and Chargers this week. Although NE has been 3-4 at home since losing Super Bowl 42 so they're not unbeatable but I just can't see Andrew Luck outperforming Tom Brady. Plus it's going to rain so I think the Pats have the better ground game. Seattle, well, records show that they hasn't lost a home playoff since St Louis back in '04 so I figured Seattle would have no problems against the Saints. For the Sunday matchups, I think Newton's inexperience in the playoffs will hurt him. Nick Foles struggled in his first playoff game and the 49ers will force Newton to throw the ball more often. As for SD-Denver, well, like I said, Peyton has never beaten the Bolts in the playoffs and always struggles against them no matter what team he has. So unless I change my mind at the last minute, I'm picking SD in an upset.

Thought the Eagles would be higher. Then again, everyone outside the Northeast wants Philly, Boston and NY to fail every year in all sports. (Throw in LA in the mix for baseball and the NBA). And Dallas, well, that's self-explanatory. They get all the attention and nothing to show for it. From my observations, the four most hated teams in the four major sports as of now are the Cowboys, Yankees, Heat and in hockey, well, that depends. Ask anyone in Canada, they'll all say the Leafs because of the money and all the attention they get and have nothing to show for. In the US, well, I'd say the Penguins because of Crosby.

And speaking of which, Lane Kiffin. Yes, the former Raiders coach, Lane Kiffin, is the new OC for Alabama. I'm pretty sure Auburn is guaranteeing a repeat for the SEC West right now....
I looked through the Reddit discussion on the Eagles/Saints game last week and it was filled with people shocked by how rude the fans were behaving in the stadium. Followed by replies from NFC East team people saying this is nothing new.

The rain is literally roaring outside my door right now. Pats kickoff is in an hour and 15 minutes, hopefully this will calm down a bit by then...

I don't think it's the NFC East teams solely that have rude fans. I know San Francisco and Oakland have their fair share of violent fans. The sad thing is, every team has its fair share of fans who take it one step too far. Drinking excess alcohol is not an excuse to act unprofessionally. It never is! And neither is being flamboyant and arrogant for sole purpose of team pride. People haven't learned a thing from Bryan Stow incident! It's hard to justify going to any sports game really. Not just because of the ticket prices, parking, concessions and all that but sporting events these days are now becoming a matter of life or death and the vile fans who never think twice! I am baffled some people would have the nerve to wear an opposing jerseys to a game. I would never consider it because I could end up in a coffin! I honestly don't know why these people do it when they're asking for trouble. Even if you're supporting the home team, you're not immune by any stretch. Visiting fans can start unwanted brawls, too. It just seems like football is the worst offender of having rude fans. The nature of the season could be to blame. (Only 16 compared to 82 games for basketball and hockey and 162 for baseball.) Other than that, I'm thinking it's team pride going too far. End of rant.

Speaking of hated teams, here's a rank'ems from ESPN.com on the most hated teams in the NFL. #1 is the most hated, and #32 is the least hated. I guess America's Team is the most hated team in the league.

Kind of reads like 'teams people are most aware of...' :)

It's like No one hates the bills/panthers/eat because they've been so irrelevant for long periods :)

I don't ever encounter Raiders or 49er fans. So while I dislike their behavior on TV and won't root for them, I am much more frustrated by the behavior of Eagles fans because I live in central Jersey and have to deal with them firsthand.

I think for the most part there is a dislike for quite a few teams near the top (Cowboys, Jets, Patriots, Steelers, Ravens), but I've never heard any major dislike for the Giants (apart from Packers fans who have bitter tastes left in their mouths). I think that one stems from the big markets of their rival teams. But the teams at the bottom are teams that haven't been good long enough, or they haven't had a lot of success in the playoffs in recent years, or they're just bad.

I guess being a Packers fan, I have never really dealt with any "bad" fans. Yes, there are those overly cocky fans who are just d-bags, but I've never encountered a violent fan. I constantly hear how Packers fans are (usually) some of the friendliest in the league. Guess I'm spoiled.

You need to talk to some Cowboy, Eagles, or Patriots fans. They HATE us. And the feeling is mutual. (Except for you Nemo, you are one of the good ones)
