I'm just going to say this, but Jim Harbaugh was just on the field on that INT by Bowman. Actually, looking at the replay, several players were. Shouldn't that be a penalty?

Didnt Tony Gonzalez return because Matt Ryan convinced him on the pitch they have a good chance at the Super Bowl? That sure worked out well.

Do you want to call a penalty on this guy?

That's how a referee wakes up with a horse head in their bed.

Aaron Rodgers will "definitely" know if he will play this week or not on Thursday. Rodgers said he underwent another CT scan within the past 24 hours (his first in a couple weeks). The scan is still being evaluated. The Packers have the day off tomorrow for Christmas before starting practice on Thursday. He will likely know the outcome before practice begins.

The Cowboys are going to sign QB Jon Kitna. He hasn't been in the league since 2011, when he was with the Cowboys.

Is Jim Harbaugh really the Hulk?

Not me. I look at him as the Lou Piniella or Bobby Knight of the NFL. You should ask the same question to Jim Schwartz. I bet he still hasn't gotten over that handshake incident.

Speaking of finales, this week is the last game in the Metrodome for the Vikings. My understanding they'll play at TCF Bank Stadium where the University of Minnesota Gophers football plays for the next two seasons. Assuming nothing goes wrong, the new stadium for the Vikings will be complete for 2016-17 season. It's goodbye to Metrodome. Some of us remember the roof collapse not too long ago. (I still remember seeing it. It was remarkable how all that snow destroyed the roof.) But a stadium that once was known for its plexiglass outfield and the "Baggie" in the right field, it saw two World Series titles for the Twins, the not so memorable '99 NFC title game with the Gary Anderson miss and everything, and a return of 109 yards happened not once, but twice during its history.

RIP Candlestick and RIP Metrodome. You will be missed.

I'm interested to see how the Vikings will play outdoors the next two seasons. And the new stadium is going to be built in the location that the Metrodome is located in, I believe.

Some good news for WRs...

- Wes Welker has returned to practice after missing the last 2 games with a concussion.
- Randall Cobb has a real chance to play. He was "close" to playing last week, supposedly.

Neither WR has been cleared to play, however, but it's looking like both could be on the field for the final week of the regular season.

Aaron Rodgers took first team reps during the "open to media" portion of practice today. IMO that means he will start, because I don't think they'd give Rodgers any reps if Flynn was going to be the starter. But who knows, we will find out in a little bit.

I thought this was a neat story.

Jon Kitna is currently a math teacher, and he is getting $53,000 to play this weekend. He is going to donate the $53,000 back to his high school. If the Cowboys win this weekend, he will need a sub to take over his math class, because school resumes on the 2nd.
