Thank you, Eagles!

Packers vs Bears for the division title next week. Can it get any better than this?

Matthew Staffords girlfriend on the top and an angry Lions fan on the bottom. Got a good laugh out of this.

I think the Patriots have the AFC now. Peyton isn't as good in cold weather, and their defense is suspect

Peyton has cold weather experience now... I think we can put that label away now. He's played two years worth of outdoor games at home now... no longer pampered by the dome.

I still think Broncos over Pats... in a shootout... well, remember dallas? :)

McCarthy had a couple injury updates today for the Packers.

Rodgers: They hope to make a decision soon rather than later this week. It sounds like it won't take until Friday to figure out if he will play or not.

Matthews: Says he has nothing to report, but the training staff did not feel very good about the injury to his thumb.

No news on Lacy yet.

According to NFL.com, Clay Matthews broke his thumb against the Steelers. This is the same thumb he fractured earlier this season. He underwent surgery and was sidelined for a month. This recovery will likely take longer, and he could be done for the season.

So I'm finishing fourth in my fantasy league playoffs. :( Hindsight is 20/20 but I think I should've drafted a QB in the first round considering how the game has changed so much. Meanwhile, Kubiak was the first fired. Who's next? My bet was on Schiano but now I'm thinking it's Jim Schwartz, Mike Shanahan and Jason Garrett in that order as the next three coaches to be fired.

Rex Ryan is probably on his way out too.
This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion but I think Rex should stay. They stand at 7-8 right now with a chance to finish at a 500 winning percentage. 90 percent of people thought the Jets were destined for a disastrous season and a top 10 draft pick, but instead they hovered around 500 for most of the season and were active in the playoff race for 15 weeks. Seems like they overachieved for me, considering most of their defensive starters I never even heard of and they have no passing game at all.

Coaches on the hot seat, IMO, are:

1) Mike Shanahan
2) Jim Schwartz
3) Leslie Frazier
4) Mike Munchak
5) Rex Ryan
6) Jason Garrett
7) Dennis Allen

I think the top 3 will definitely be fired. The bottom 4 are all up in the air for me. Ryan has proven to be a player's coach. The players love him, but the troubles they've had during his time there (both on and off the field) are too much for me. I would have fired him last season. He did do an impressive job this year with that offense, though. Garrett seems like he's just riding the talent of his team. He doesn't add anything special to the team, but he doesn't take anything away from his team. Perhaps that's a reason they are always at .500. Munchak hasn't shown enough for me to keep him around. They need a new coach and a new QB to bring in a new age for the Titans. Allen impressed, too, with his roster. They were inconsistent, but they were right there with the Jets and Jags for the worst team in the NFL at the start of the season. The Raiders have shown glimmers of success, but they haven't been able to bring in the wins, which isn't surprising with their lack of talent. I'd keep him around another year.

Shanahan is clearly on his way out. Schwartz has gotten his team to the playoffs once, and he has led the most undisciplined team in the league for years. Not just their off-the-field issues, but the turnovers, etc. Props to him for getting his team into playoff contention after that winless season, though. Frazier just hasn't shown me anything. He has talent, but how he's handled that talent hasn't given me any reason to keep him around. However, give the Vikings a solid QB, and Frazier could be seen as a good HC.

Now I'm hearing Tony Romo is "day to day". He will require surgery in the offseason, though. It still sounds like Romo is highly unlikely, but he has not been ruled out.

Also, the Cowboys are going to work out David Carr tomorrow, and plan to bring in at least one more QB to work out.
