More injury news:

Turk McBride, DT for the Bears, ruptured his Achilles tendon and will miss the season. He's not a starter, but I thought I'd share.

And I also never reported that Percy Harvin of the Seahawks got injured a few days ago with a hip injury. He may or may not miss the season, depending on if he needs surgery, and what they would need to do.

Yeah, I saw that Gabbert was going to undergo an MRI tomorrow (or maybe it was today). Gus Bradley (head coach of Jaguars) said he "sprained" his ankle, but I don't think he knew what it actually was.

a topic that has been going around town for decades. The only people that care about the story are the media.

Percy Harvin's injury will require surgery. Not sure if he'll be back this season or not.

UPDATE- His estimated recovery time is 3-4 months, which would make him able to play/practice around December.

20th Century Fox has purchased the rights to a movie based on Kurt Warner's story. I've always thought his life would be a great movie idea, and was kind of surprised it wasn't one yet.

Some major changes are coming tot he Pro Bowl. No longer will it be AFC vs NFC, instead it will take the players with the most votes from each position, regardless of conference, and there will be a player draft to decide what team they are on. The people drafting these players will be winners of their Fantasy Football teams (one for each team). These winners will get the help of Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders.

Some unnecessary news coming from the Eagles today. WR Riley Cooper used a racial slur (if you want to know what exactly it was, Google it) at a Kenny Chesney concert. He's been fined by the Eagles, and Mike Vick's brother, Marcus, took to Twitter...
