Well, it's mainly Richard Sherman who's become the new Cortland Finnegan. To say he has ruffled a few feathers would be an understatement.
There was a play during the game tonight where a Seahawks O-lineman dove into our safety's knee after the runner was tackled. Totally uncalled for.

The Green Bay Packers are expected to release backup QB Graham Harrell and go with Vince Young instead. After a year out of football, Young has found another job.

Cardinals 1st round pick, Jonathan Cooper (guard), suffered a broken leg and might miss the season.

Packers WRs Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb have returned to practice today, and both are expected to be ready for the season opener against the 49ers. Good news for fantasy owners out there.

This isn't really news that will affect much, but I found it kind of funny.

The Bills signed QB Matt Leinart. The funny part? There were reports earlier today that the Jets were going to work him out. The Jets are losing before the season even starts.

But the Packers two season ago proved you don't need a good O-line or secondary to go 15-1. ;)
At least you have a recent ring....even though Aaron Rodgers has been 1 and done in every post season, save the Super Bowl Year...I could very easily see your peeps advancing... I still can't see these Falcons going deep in the playoffs.

We were two and done last year, beating the Vikings. But I get what you're saying. I'm very hopeful for the Pack this year, their defense sacked the mobile Russell Wilson three times the other night.

I haven't paid too much attention to the Falcons, but their offense looks scary.

Forgot about your home and home against Minnesota to end the Regular Season, and then end Minnesota's post-season...we still can't punch it in in the Red Zone...At least we were competitive in the Post-Season last year...first time for Ryan led Falcons..

I don't bother with how the pre-season goes, unless it's clear that something has improved/declined. I know Mike McCarthy doesn't play to win the games, he plays to put players in certain situations to better evaluate them. I'm pretty sure he's told Rodgers to stall drives this preseason so that he can evaluate the kickers. And there are so many players that sit out games who normally wouldn't that it's just too hard to tell sometimes.

Falcons O-line and secondary look bad......
I think we're going to have to find a veteran FA for the O-line. He won't have to be a Pro Bowler, but just enough to solidify the line. I also think the secondary will get better as our rookies learn throughout the season, so we need the protection so we can just outscore our opponents and stay in the hunt.

Update on Mark Sanchez:

A MRI was "inconclusive", but the team views it as a day-to-day injury. They do not believe it will be a long-term problem, but Sanchez will not participate in the preseason finale.

After seeing a few Packers pre season games and highlights, this doesn't surprise me. Not a pack fan but if they kept him and Rodgers went down, the whole offense would go down
