NFL 2012- Name your team!!!

I'm still going to try and catch the game on Sunday. I really do wonder about our offense sometimes...do they really want to win or are they "just there". I love my Bears but some days I just don't understand them. o_O

Not to upset you, but the Bears are an average team at best without an elite defense every week. I felt the same way about the Pack's defense last year. IMO, the only way they are going to be a more balanced team is to give Lovie the boot. He's too defensively minded, and he doesn't seem like a team leader (how can you be when you never say a word?). Plus they need an offensive line. Like my Packers.

I have to say, after how unstoppable the Packers looked last year, even with 9 wins this season, they don't look all that scary to me. It seems like last year nobody could stop their offense. This year, they look pretty average. Their defense however is looking much better.

I'm feeling good with the Pats up 21-0, but the Texans defense has had a solid last few drives. The Pats have been known to take their foot off the gas with big leads, so anything can happen.

No team really scares me in the NFL right now. And from the inside looking out, as much as I loved all the wins and high-powered offense last year as a Packers fan, I much prefer this season. Where we aren't having to have a high-powered offense because our team is much more balanced. And at this point in the season our running game is picking up, our players are getting healthy, and we are picking up the pace (even without mind-blowing stats.) I was never really satisfied with any wins last season, and I've been satisfied with most of our wins this season.

I sometimes read on Packers.com a very unbiased writer named Vic Ketchman. He doesn't always side with the Packers and speaks from experience and facts. He once said that teams that are hot in the early/mid part of the season often run out of steam in the latter parts of the season and the playoffs. You look at the Packers last year, Texans, Falcons and Ravens this year and that proves him right. Not to say this happens to all teams, but you do see it quite often.

Ugh can't my Giants face someone else in the Superbowl for once? I'm sorry am I think too far ahead? :p

hahahaha You are in much better shape than my team. My dear Bears started out so well this season and now a pile of kindling. Can't win if you can't stay healthy. Always next year. Coming up to the plate next my Cubbies.

It only happened once, but ill gladly take another playoff miracle play

Twice. Both Super Bowls. Though the fact is, the Giants played well enough to stay in both games and that's all that matters. I want the Pats-Giants III. Brady would be so amped for that game, they'd have to pry the ball away from his dead hands.

The Manningham catch? I thought that was more f a great catch/throw combo. The Tyree one? That was pure luck, but one play does not decide a game.

No doubt in my mind whatsoever that the Falcons will make a statement this weekend against the Giants! Just don't know if it will be a positive statement!!

The Falcons need to go 2-1 to get the #1 seed. If they lose to the Giants, I could very easily see them losing @ Detroit.... I'm sure the rest of the NFC would love to see ATL with the #1 seed

This weekend Bears over Packers coupled with a Patriots over San Fran would put Atl one win away from #1 seed. Atlanta cannot win any tiebreaker against the Packers (Packers would have a better conference record).

I don't see the Texans finishing #1 seed. They have to beat Indy twice. One loss and 3 Pats wins, and they're #2.

Oddly, though it was pure luck, the Giants deserved that game more than last years. Their defense was perfect that game (for the most part). Last year, they won because Brady made 1 stupid mistake and Welker missed 1 easy catch. The Pats outplayed them for 59 minutes and 45 seconds.
