I'm actually pretty sure that the deal that Universal made was that they get to keep the wet and wild name, and all of the other waterparks owned by that company would have to be changed.

Well, from the looks of the link that Marky posted, (btw, thank you Marky) it sure dosn't look that way... Unless they just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I think what Marky sent might have been outdated because I just went onto the Universal website and checked it out myself. If you don't believe me, here are the addresses. The one with the link to wet and wild from the Universal page is at:

http://www.universalstudios.com/glo...studios.com/themeparks/html/orlando/main.html

The address to Wet n Wild that they gave was:

http://www.universalstudios.com/themeparks/html/ue/tickets/wnw.html

Also, just to prove my point, at the bottom of the wet and wild page, Univeral has credit to the site.
:)

I just thought that it was interesting that the actual WnW website showed Universal as being the owners of the Orlando park.

Oh, I'm not arguing the fact that they own that one. The Wet n Wild web site even says they own it but it doesn't look like the names of the others are being changed... Sounds more like Universal bought that park and licensing rights to the name, sort of like a franchise or... sort of like TDL.
