Next Fairy for meet n greets

I've heard Periwinkle will start around September 9th. She will also not be doing any training sets at IG. She's only allowed to appear in the "winter" section at the fairy meet n greet location.

Space - there had to get ride of the other 3 due to space. They haven't been fully retired, they are just no longer regular.

With 8 fairy characters now, why can't they just rotate? I think Rosetta got priority previously because of the Pixie Hollow Games TV special... but really, why can't they just switch off like they used to?

The old system in ToonTown was pretty irritating because you never knew which fairies would be waiting at the end of the 60 minute line... but at least you got to see 3 characters. Then when the fairies were in Epcot, I wasn't there during that period, but it appeared that they had posted set times, so you knew who you would see. Now they're in the Veranda... and I believe there are just 2 (Tink and a friend) at a time? And if that friend is Periwinkle... well, that's 100% fewer chances to see Iridessa and Silvermist.

I've spent a LOT of time standing in line with my daughter to see these characters, and it keeps getting more and more difficult to see them all. The interaction with them is amazing - so much more fun than the princesses or even Mickey. I wish the incredible hardworking friends of the fairies got more space and attention.

Thanks for the info. I assume you mean with Tink in the MK (that is the only Fairy M&G, right?)?

Good grief. I'm thinking Tink is going to be pretty warm in that velvet long-sleeve jacket, velvet leggings and boots!!

And Periwinkle has capris and shoulder-and-arm-baring top.

That will be Tink's winter wear in the future probably... she's gotten a new outfit for each movie. For the Lost Treasure she got an autumn outfit, and for the Great Fairy Rescue she got a leafy summer outfit.

The interaction with them is amazing - so much more fun than the princesses or even Mickey.

The interactions with the fairies are so adorable! It's one of my favorite meet and greet spots at Magic Kingdom! And this is coming from someone who isn't really fond of the Tinker Bell films.

Sounds like Peri and Tink will be the only regular fairies once she debuts - all the others will be dropping to a more random appearance schedule.

when I said space I meant backstage, not onstage... there's no room backstage in Adventureland. but when they move who knows what'll happen?

Is there a plan for them to move? Obviously, the Pixie Hollow area was cut from the FLE, so is there plans to move Tink and her friends to somewhere outside of Adventureland?

Off hand, could they move to Fairytale Gardens once the Princess Fairytale Hall is finished? That actually seems like something that would make sense for TDO.

Personally, I think they could bring back the plans for a larger Pixie Hollow (from the original FLE) if they wanted to and put it into the open land behind the Little Mermaid area. They could use the path between the new tents and the LM attraction as a pathway/entrance for guests and create a mini-land of Pixie Hollow with not only a M&G but some other attractions/rides. There could be an enclosed bridge over Magic Kingdom Dr to enter which could allow for the motif of being shrunk down as you entered the land.

Yzma, do you have a source for what fairies will be out which day? The only source I knew is not at the MK any more, so I am without fairy info for our next trip. Any help here or in a PM would be so appreciated by my family!

(It's frustrating to have to find an inside source just to know which fairies one can meet at a given day and time. I feel it should be public information. Then again I'm guessing it's only going to be Tink and Periwinkle during January.)

My DW loves Tink & is sooooo excited to get her photo taken with the new outfits!!!! I agree its good to get different costumes in the photos its great when you have them in the holiday costumes too.
