um.... nope. Cast members know just as much as we do about disney and the upcomming events. That is why yah have to talk to an imagineer. Not CaStMeMbErS

HEY!

How did you get to talk to so many imagineers? When I'm at WDW I usually am enjoying all there is to see and do.

P.s. You already answered this quote once.

HEY!

Seriously, you don't have to critisize some one on there opinions. If you like to do that, then, take a hike. It's people like you who make these disscussion forums bad. Geeez, and your probably the guy who has seen that stupid lord of the rings movie for the 20th time!

People like who... :zipit:

Seriously, I thought the only new water park would be just that.. a new water park... I don't see River Country being converted or upgreaded too easily. Anyone have an Aerial View of River Country and the surrounding Resorts (WL and FW).

To go back to the original topic, I always loved River Country, and so did my kids...I'd LOVE to see it re-vamped and used again, but the point about not being able to swim in those waters any more is well-taken. Seems a shame.

I took picture of River Country christmas day and there were construction walls around the main pool and even the lake. River Country is one of my favorites so every so often I will rollerblade back there and check it out.

Same here. I have fond memories of the place, but I'd rather not swim in a lake when there are water parks available.

Here's an older shot of River Country, still in operation. You can see pretty clearly how the water in River Country IS indeed different from the water in the lake:
