Interesting set of permits for Hollywood Studios. Some sort of upgrade for the projection shows?

That building was designed to be a flex space so they could do different things with it.

I hope the show finds it's way to the official Villains Land once that opens up in MK. Would seem strange to have a fully fledged musical for the villains in DHS when the entire land is in another park.

I still question what this means for RNRC. Is this to offset Muppets closing for a fore longed period of time ... or is it to offset a RNRC closure & help crowd flow on that side of the park.

It wouldn't be the weirdest thing ever. Nemo has a musical in Animal Kingdom and a whole Pavilion in Epcot.
Buzz Lightyear has a solo ride in Magic Kingdom and Toy Story has a whole land in Hollywood Studios.
Frozen has/had (can't remember if it's still there) a sing along in Hollywood and it hijacked the Norway section of World Showcase.
Star Wars is especially weird with attractions in the exact same park with Star Wars Galaxy Edge yet not part of Galaxy's Edge lol

Edit: Not on the same level but Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid have shows in Hollywood Studios and mini sections in Magic Kingdom. It would have made sense build spaces for the shows there and free space for new shows to go into Hollywood Studios but it is what it is now.

I was super excited for Villains Tonight when I went on my first Disney Cruise. It was a huge let down. I was surprised how little I enjoyed that show.

Can you eleborate why? Too cheesy?

The main issue was the costume changes took too long, so you just had Hades "Disney rifting" to fill time for a lot of the show, altering the momentum of the show. The actual performance segments are good, but the story was very dragged out. I just hope we get another version of Jafar singing "Wind Beneath my Wings"

To strip the Cars stuff for the attraction in MK, eat more crowds for animation courtyard change to Monsters or to see more evidence of whether a Villians land is the best idea?

If I had to guess, it’s the same reason we got launch bay. Bob has decided “Villians” is the thing and doesn’t want to wait 4 years to get something open so let’s shove “something” in “somewhere” asap.
