New Train Spiel

Just visited the MK today and surprise! the announcements on the WDW Railroad have been completely redone.

Most interesting is now while passing through the back of the park the "conductor" actually acknowledges you're passing behind Fantasyland and talks briefly about the expansion.

Other notes: the rest of the spiel is more or less the same except all music has been removed (included the Pocahontas reference) and the addition of one or two slightly funny lines of dialogue. i.e. "....While working on the railroad, all the live long day..."

Didn't see this posted anywhere else so I thought I'd post it here. Thoughts, questions, comments?

Appreciate the effort to bring changes to attention, but I am sorry to burst the hype that this has already been adressed. People work fast around here.

I was not aware either, although I wasn't planning to ride the train at my next visit except to get a look at the expansion, but thanks for sharing!

OP had already been informed of that, please read the thread next time.
:)

I haven't heard it in person yet, but I like the idea of removing the music from the train. I always found it awkward in Frontierland when the conductor said something along the lines of "if you listen closely, you can still hear the spirit of Pocahontas singing in these woods." *ORCHESTRAL FLOURISH* "HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THE WOLF CRY TO THE BLUE CORN MOON?!"

Aw, but I liked that song they played when you entered Adventureland! :( I know they play it on the AL bridge, but it was more fun hearing it on the train.

already posted. use the search option next time please

If they were posting that the Yeti was broken, I can see how the above would be extremely relevant, in this case however, the train spiel has not gotten a ton of traffic and it seems many on this thread did not know.

Additionally, if you had provided a link to the previous thread, this one could have been locked as you seem to wish it would have been.

Well, now I am bummed. I was at the Magic Kingdom yesterday and opted not to ride the train. Ha! I have to say I am thrilled they got rid of the Pocohontas reference. I was not a fan...
