New to DCL... Chances at Palo brunch?

My wife and I just booked our first DCL cruise for September. It is a 7-night Western on Fantasy. Is it unlikely that we would be able to get a Palo brunch since so many others will have a head start? Is the brunch offered on both sea days?

Since you're new, you wont have the headstart Castaway Club members do, but you can book Palo reservations at 75 days before your sailing. I think your chances will still be pretty good that far out. There's usually a few spots left when boarding the ship (as soon as you board you can go book some things, like Palo, etc.)
Palo brunch will be offered on both at-sea days.

Get online right at midnight when your booking window opens and go to brunch options first! There may be something.
If there isn't, go to check right when you board. They do hold some bookings back for onboard booking, so if you get there early you definitely have a chance!

This is what I'm counting on next month! Brunch was all sold out by the time I logged in. I'm hoping my Platinum status carries some weight when I board!!

Go straight to the dining reservations/changes spot onboard. They hold back a good bit of inventory for booking onboard. Plus, always check back or get on a standby list. We've cancelled a brunch onboard before.

That is great that they hold some back so some of us noobs have a chance.

Now, if only WDW held back half their reservations for walkups o_O.... but that is another topic for a different thread.

Thank you for the input. :D
