New to Cruising and unsure of what toiletries wil be provided on ship.

Ah,

i was just a "plain" verandah on the Magic both times.

However I had a verandah on the Dream in July and just had the "normal" stuff.

I had some in my verandah on the Dream, but maybe it's because it was a preview cruise?

Kelly wasn't in concierge though, and I guess she had it! Maybe it's luck of the stateroom host/hostess?

Our room steward was brand new.

I didn't realize not all the staterooms got the solar gel. I thought they did. We were in a deluxe verandah room (the 299 sq ft one). I was mistaken, it's not H2O Spa. Its Aquatics. I bought the full tube at the gift shop at the Wilderness Lodge pre-cruise on a tip from an acquaintance who is also a CM. She took 1 look at my glowing pale family and said it might be good to have. But then we also had a small bottle on one of the bathroom shelves. This is what it looks like:

The price says $16.95 but I scored 30% off because all H2O products were on sale in September.

Ps. Anyone needing sunblock for upcoming cruises might wanna check out the Goods section of Groupon. Yesterday I spotted a great deal on Livestrong sunblock. Read up on it. Looks like awesome stuff. Just a little FYI, 'specially for other product junkies like me.

What should I expect to bring as far as toiletries.Thank you for your help.

Just my own opinion, but you should bring your own toiletries and bring the DCL stuff home as souvenirs.
