Fancy name for Fulton landfill...
First, that's not very nice.
Second, I believe the park is actually in Cobb county.

There really have not been too many serious, violent incidents at Six Flags Over Georgia.Being where its located I would have guessed Fulton. As a local, I would never step one foot in that gangland. Do they still have "wear your gang colors and pack your favored postal" night? Maybe it has changed but the one time I tried to even look into going, someone was shot that night and we turned around and went back home. I have hard many stories of danger there.

It's gotten better from what I've heard. They had a couple incidents a few years ago, but have since tightened security and gotten better control over some of those issues. There really have not been too many serious, violent incidents at Six Flags Over Georgia.
I think it's more the immediate vicinity and Six Flags Rd, so people end up linking incidents to the park itself. If I recall correctly, the big fight that made headlines a few years ago was actually an escalation of activities that partly occurred in the park but happened outside of Six Flags' property. A bunch of violence on Universal Blvd would probably have people questioning the atmosphere of Universal Orlando Resort even if nothing ever actually happened near the resort. It's gotten better from what I've heard. There isn't much out there aside from the theme park. It's hardly MLK near I-20... If people consider Six Flags "the ghetto", they really don't know the city well at all...I think it's more the immediate vicinity and Six Flags Rd, so people end up linking incidents to the park itself. I have, so true, hahahaha. And...as I stated, that area of the city is a far cry from what surrounds Six Flags.Yep, take a stroll down Moreland Ave at night, then let me know what is ghetto haha
