I see, the space is not that large and I think that is why it is empty for so long. They could put a tribute store in there with heavy theming and make people happy to dump their cash. I wonder if that's been tried somewhere?? Hmmmmm.....

im not willing to give them
The benefit of the doubt. They just too cheap. No matter how “bad” Stitch was it was still an attraction and something to do. Instead we have yet another empty space

Yes they are cheap but does it matter to them? With the money they pull from the parks they should be amazing but the sad fact is people keep coming and the desire to provide guest satisfaction leading to generations of good will has been supplanted by the lure of big bucks now.
Time to face facts, they want your money and really don't care how you feel about it.
The drive to produce a 10% increase yoy and to beat last month's numbers has polluted the dream.
You still crazy?

Oh trust me i know this full well & im part of the problem i fully admit that as i will be there Friday so yes blame me but i will say this again staying value less is being spent in the parks on souvenirs for multiple reasons and altho the feels were still there in November there definitely was a difference. But ill say this. It will be the 1st year w my daughter that other areas will get my $ & definitely will not be the last…

😂😂 “ sorry folks, can’t expand the park anymore, management need their proximity parking “
can you imagine this actually being discussed in some board meeting or presentation to build out the parks... sorry we cant do that we need our parking spots?!?!?!

While people laugh about managers wanting to park closer to work, this is the same forum that always brings up better treatment of cast. I imagine it might make it easier to keep good leadership if you’re not making them park a mile away, taking a bus, then walking another mile to work. The parking lot itself is also used by VIP tours, deliveries, MK park wide ODV, among other things. I can see the reluctance of making this a guest area.

There's something to be said for leaders actually leading by example and having to park in the same place their employees do.

Part of it was a guest area. Capacity at the world’s busiest theme park was removed to make parking more convenient for managers.

The area could be made to work, but it would require serious planning, design and operational concessions for the benefits of the guest experience. You can’t just take a box and drop it down like they planned and keep doing with far too much frequency.

Guest area no… a new ride/attraction something truly positive for the park yes… and if upper management gets ticked off at that just shows you the pulse of said management. Lets nix a potential project that will benefit millions of people a year so we can park closer to the office?!?

There’s a lot more going in back there than just manager parking
