Am I the only one concerned that DHS is becoming all Star Wars? ....Or are they just trying to strike while the iron is hot and until they have something else to offer?
IMO, this is no different than them getting ridiculous with all the Frozen garbage. It will fade with time. Only question I have is: when will they start handing out the BB-8 fans!!

Am I the only one concerned that DHS is becoming all Star Wars? Maybe this is just their focus until other rides and shows are finished (Toy Story, Star Wars land, etc) but I'd hate to see a park that used to celebrate movies and film-making turn into a celebration of one movie franchise. Just me? It seems like the new fireworks/projection show and this stage show would suggest this is the new sole focus. Or are they just trying to strike while the iron is hot and until they have something else to offer?

That's where DHS seems to be going. :( While I do like Star Wars, if Disney turns the focus of DHS toward SW every day of the year I'll be burnt out on the idea even before I've had a chance to see it.

Predicting the rename of the park will be "Disney's Star Wars (with a little Muppets, Toy Story, and a few other items in there to keep the kiddos happy) Studios.

Yaaay! I am happy about this, because ever since I've seen The Force Awakens, I've been interested in Star Wars, but have not watched anymore movies after that, but I did buy a VHS of A New Hope at my local library! This show also begins the exact day I arrive in Orlando, but I will not go to the parks until the next day, since I have school. I do have an advance dining reservation for 50's Prime Time on the day I first go into the parks, so I may catch a glimpse of it or watch it while waiting for my reservation.

I have always thought star wars should be its own park, but i will settle for the loading as much as they want into Hollywood studios. This new show sounds cool, kind of a star wars greatest hits

I agree on this completely. What about this park being about MOVIES? Disney always capitalizes on anything that is making profit at the moment, but I hope HS/New-Soon-to-be Hollywood Adventure stays true to what it's really about.

I think I'm correct in thinking that this live stage show will go on throughout this summer and further on into the future. However, for this to happen centre stage needs to remain. Yet in the concept art for the fireworks(which are billed to start this summer), centre stage is missing. I know it's called "concept art" for a reason but if centre stage is still there during the fireworks then I imagine the projections onto the Chinese theatre are not going to be as visible with that monstrosity in the way.

There was many people saying the park had too much Frozen last summer. I think a few years time the temporary Star Wars stuff will be gone and there will just be the Star Wars Land area.
Same as there was all the temporary Frozen stuff in 2014 & 2015 but in 2016 a permanent Frozen ride is open.

That sucks. I've really loved the seasonal only aproach that they have taken to Center Stage so far. Now, along with yet another Cinderella Castle stage show that will be blaring down Main Street, we will also have a Chinese Theater stage show blaring down Hollywod Blvd.

Well with much of the back portion of the park closing in early April, guests in the remainder of the park need something to do.

"Work in the Center Stage (Hub) area of the park will begin Wednesday, March 9 to prepare for the new live stage show, Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away coming April 4 and the most elaborate fireworks and projection shows in the park’s history, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular coming summer 2016. As a result, the character greetings located near The Hollywood Brown Derby will relocate nearby to The Great Movie Ride courtyard beginning March 11."

Really? They need work to alter the stage from its already subdued form? I have a bad feeling about this.;)
