New Star Tours 2.0 queue video

I have to say, I'm actually surprised how "retro" the whole thing looks, like it's still 1987 and they're still using stock footage from the original three films.

Which is actually interesting, when the fear for SO long has been that any new version of Star Tours would have rammed the new trilogy down everyone's throats. Based on this one video it actually seems like they're ignoring it.

What video did you watch dude? All of the footage in that video is from the 1997 special edititions (you can tell by the simplistic and shoddy CGI footage of Bespin) and the Alderaan footage is directly from Episode III´s ending (just swapped the corellian crusier for a starspeeder). I wish they would use stock footage from the originals because models look way more realistic than bad CG. The announcer also sounds too scripted and not as good as previous. Thrilled that they are keeping the chimes and music though.

Oh and that Alderaan thing about it being safest in the galaxy isn´t neceassarily a joke about the death star because in A New Hope Leia even says Alderaan is peaceful and has no weapons or army so at the time of the ride it would be one of the safest places in the galaxy.

If you go to myxer.com and search Star Tours Ad Music, it will bring up an entire ringtone of the music from Star Tours. You can then edit the music on that website to just get the little jingle at the end, and then send it to your phone.

Just because we weren't introduced to the Ewoks until Episode 6 doesn't mean that they weren't on the planet prior to Episode 4.

Yeah, but Endor was backwater as hell until it became the battlefield for the climax of the Galactic Civil War. And it's pretty dangerous between stuff like the giant Gorax, troublesome Duloks, Morag the Tulgah Witch or that gang of space marauders.

The Ewoks cartoon and the Ewok spinoff movies about a family who gets stranded there.
