Disney has also shared a full video tour inside Roundup Rodeo BBQ.
Par for the course with Hollywood Studios table service, IMO.Once again, that looks like an aggressively unpleasant place to spend 60+ minutes for a table service meal.
I disagree that it’s comparable to Dinoland. Dinoland is simply mundane, a facsimile of something most people see as tawdry and cheap. Experiencing toys from the perspective of a toy, on the other hand, isn’t a droll theme, but some of the execution is questionable. The designers didn’t have to resort to taped-together cardboard boxes for the exterior here.

I guess my point was that, within the context of the land, there were many design options that might have produced a more attractive and compelling facade, whereas anything that falls under the overarching theme of Dinoland is kind of stuck being what’s already there.I don't think you're really disagreeing with him -- his comment, at least to me, read that choosing to make it a cardboard box was the flaw, not that the whole idea behind TSL was a flaw.

It looks good empty, but really wondering how this is going to be when its full of guests and servers.
Like eating in the queue of Toy Story Mania. Hopefully it isn't.It looks like it will be very loud, but that's probably to be expected at a Toy Story themed restaurant.
I kiiind of hate both, but I'm probably just not the target audience. At this point, I really just avoid any TS at HS, especially with EPCOT being a gondola ride away.I actually like the themed settings of both Sci-Fi and 50s Prime Time -- I just don't think the food at either is good.
Madness, I'm sure, but I can't think of many dining experiences within the parks themselves lately that haven't been unless I've gone somewhere somewhat dead like Coral Reef. Dining back at the hotels feels much more tolerable lately. It looks good empty, but really wondering how this is going to be when its full of guests and servers.
If anyone ever said to themselves "I love the Toy Story Mania queue so much, I just want to sit down right there and and eat some meat and pasta" this is the place for them.I think it looks pretty darn cute, families will love it.
Is it my sort of... aesthetic? No. But it's fun.
This is what I'm thinking, the setting/theme and target demographic for this place, might be too loud and crazy for me. I'm sure families with small children will enjoy it. The food looks good.It looks like it will be very loud, but that's probably to be expected at a Toy Story themed restaurant.
Pretty sure those are sous vide in which case, I wouldn't necessarily say cheapened out but definitely easier to mass produce in single servings.I won't allow myself to get excited over yet another overpriced, mass produced meat and pasta dining location.
The decor is silly (okay, it's toy story land, forgiven)
The food in disney's own promo video looked grey and unappetizing.
The dining area seems like it's going to be excessively loud with children.
Even the jar/pie deserts look like they found yet another way to cheap out on the food and make it easier to mass produce.
I'm kind of on the same page. It's not for me, but I suspect it will be very popular and a lot of people will love the theme.I think it looks pretty darn cute, families will love it.
