New rope drop process at MK

Maybe the could add a set location for Olaf and Kristoff?? That would take planning by Entertainment.

If we all remember right, Elsa and Anna would've already been gone by now if they had kept to their original plans.

What did they expect? They created the beast themselves. By providing FP+ for a Meet & Greet, then limiting the amount of time the characters are there versus the normal park hours, of course people who are desperate to meet them at the one location they're available are going to all try to get there as early as possible. The IDEAL solution would have been to just hire more friends for Anna and Elsa and provide a M&G location for them at each park (except DAK). Is it not in keeping with good show? Sure. But compared to this alternative I would be willing to suspend disbelief.
Further proof that Disney fans are nuts! This kind of behavior reminds me of when I took my 5 year old Princess to the Mary Poppins Tea at Disneyland. The second the doors opened a 300lb 60 year old woman literally shoved my 5 year old out of her way to be the first to get the coveted Mary Poppins Tea Party Pin. Then this woman left. She didn't even go to the tea party. Just paid the $36 to get the pin and push around little children.

Yet again - I am confused. I thought FP+ was to eliminate the need to rush to an attraction???? But I will say this - I am not interested in the mad dash and as long as all those people run to see Frozen it will be lower lines on everything else.

Anna and Elsa do have FP+ but the amount distributed per hour is very low and just like reservations for Be Our Guest and Cinderella's Royal Table are gone 180 days in advance, they are gone 60 days in advance. The rush is for people who do not have a FastPass and are trying to get into the standby line before it gets absurdly out of hand.

Then this woman left. She didn't even go to the tea party. Just paid the $36 to get the pin and push around little children.

People are also doing this for Anna and Elsa. They are booking reservations for Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table to get into the park before regular day guests and eating the cost of not showing up to their reservation in order to get up to Anna and Elsa before anyone else. This was also happening when they were still at Epcot.

They'll throw SOMEONE into makeup...it won't be pretty!
Iger is being fitted for a wig. Why can none of these people be satisfied with seeing them on a float in the 3 o'clock parade? Is the extortion photo worth a 300 minute wait?

I was on a DCL Magic cruise in December. The Frozen red head was doing a meet and greet. Still can't remember the names of the girls. The attendant was having maybe 4 or 5 kids in line waiting on average. by the gift shop. I did not have any idea who the character was until my daughter told me. The movie was even playing on the ship and I did not have a clue. Ignorance is often bliss.

It's not just the m&g...

Sir Mickey's is out of Frozen merch within an hour or two after park open. Even with a limit, they run to buy whatever they can get their hands on.

Huge demand and a trickle supply.

Same at Disney Stores across the country. Same on Disney cruises. Lasts for a couple hours then gone.

Wow! There was Frozen merch in the WoD in DtDD in California a few weeks ago. I saw it all day every day the week we were there. Didn't see costumes but plenty of dolls and toys. The Frozen M&G is insane out in Disneyland, too. I've read the wait hits 5 hours at times. 5 hours. No frickin' way. Nopity nope. I hope DL adopts the walk because I've been reading reports of children being injured in the full-on adult sprint. It's a mob mentality. Craziness.

I've noticed that merchandise on Disneystore.co.uk that used to sell out within minutes are now hanging around a lot longer which could be because Disney have got their stock in order and/or the interest is now slowly coming down.

Funny thing is, the adults are more in to Frozen than the kids are and if you look around you will see it is the adults dragging the kids and shoving their way through at these kind of things.
