New Rides

Of all the rumored rides that have been talked about, which one would you like to see become a reality? For me it would have to be the Indiana Jones ride like the one in Disneyland. Personally I think it would be a great fit in Animal Kingdom and that way they could still keep the Indiana Jones show in MGM.

Everest is already a reality. I mean of all the rumored attractions that haven't even started being built yet.

I would have to agree, it would be a GREAT addition in either park

Although I agree that Indiana Jones would be a great ride addition, Animal Kingdom already has DINOSAUR, which is the exact same ride system. So having two rides with the same sensations and effects would not make sense. Personally, I'd rather see an E-Ticket come to MGM without necessarily cloning an existing DL attraction.

You have a lot better gammar than him, so you pass the test. :D Welcome to the boards!

To be honest, I don't think Indy would be a very good addition to AK. Its a great ride, sure, but AK is all about animals, and the Indy ride really has nothing to do with animals so it wouldn't be a proper fit. And there's no room in Adventureland, so MGM is pretty much the only place for it to go...

But let's not get into that debate again. :D

As for rumored rides I'd like to see come true, I'd have to go with The Muppet Great Movie ride. The ideas for it just sound so good!

I don't think it would go either of the park(AK/MGM) because of Lucas. I think he want something new, something more original. I would say Star Tour v2.0 is more likely to happen. There just isn't too much you can do to revamp Indy casue it's a classic ride. But Star Tour could be involved some newer digital filming technology. So I won't bet on Indy.

Beat me to it regarding Jay... However, MS7479a also posted about new resorts too so it can`t be JayDarkKnight. Can it?

It has something to do with Snakes. They could built a snake/anaconda exhibit besides Indy ride. Little far-fetch though. But I agree with you that Indy shouldn't be in AK.

Indiana Jones at AK? Maybe...

But Indy Ride Clone at AK? NO

That would stink, i mean if it was a disneyland clone then it would be the exact same as Dinosaur. If they could make a new ride system involving the outdoors somehow with a Kilmanjaro Safari type skit then ok. But if no major new amazing outdoor adventure ride system happens then id say no.

Other than that i really loved the extension to AK. Boy do i feel stupid for not knowing its name but i researched it alot. It was suppose to be the addition where mickey and minnies camp is. It had dragons, fairytales, and a awesome castle but with Everest, i dont think theres a chance since it was based on mythological creatures.

It is? Man I love this site... :animwink:
I'm sure it started as a rumor so I'm not far off... I would love the Indy ride but to put it in AK, it's far to similar to Dinosaur. I would much rather it in the Studios but I think we could retire the Stunt Show in exchange. I just don't see any of this happening. I'm willing to bet the next big ride would be a ride system with some more technical advances, much like what they're doing with Everest. **My opinion disclaimer** :D

I've gotta say, I really wanna see Indiana Jones the ride come to Disney World. The Stunt Show doesn't suffice anymore. It's still great, but I wanna see the ride too.

Also, ms7479a where in RI are you from? I'm from the Northwest part

I would like to see a ride similar to Universal Studios Spiderman. That is an Awesome ride and I've never seen that style done anywhere else.

I agree, Magic Kingdom needs a major overhaul but not really new rides. I would like them to just rehab the current attractions. We have all seen what has happened with changing rides. So I hope they don't do another Stitch and do more rehabs like "it's a small world".
