Swan and Dolphin social media groups are filled with people who refuse to take the MK bus to TTC and just go to BW. It’s BS. Those swans should vaporize these people with their lasers as originally planned.
I don't know how the Disney Magic Kingdom bus is in the mornings at Boardwalk to know...interesting

I don't know about the logistics, but an expanded pool with slide a bar/quick food option (as with BLT), include Dole Whip, could have been useful to keep some stress off the main pool and ceremonial house. You can put the pool and bar behind key/band access to limit resort hopping motivation.

Perhaps a pool bar with food could still be added someday.
They should just do something with Tangaroa Terrace again and add smaller unique grottos and/or slides to the other pools to make them slightly more comparable. It's honestly baffling that they're overstressed but let Tangaroa sit underutilized.

Tango Terrace is used for Cast Members(several departments), Cast Member breakroom, storage (space Disney often lacks as they constantly expand location/services), and kitchen for one of the food service places. Every foot of that building was and is currently being used.

Does anyone find the placement of the sink in the Duo Studio to be strange? It's literaly right behind the door.

Yep, we did this as well during a stay at Swan. Disney Transport is available to all who have a park ticket, so we used it as the MK bus terminal is more convenient than the TTC.
And at all levels, I'll take the Art bus if Pop is 3 rows deep at park closure, just as I'll board Y/B if BoardWalk bus isn't here yet. It's not a loophole, it is being informed and acting, like when you are using transport in a city.

Coming out of lurk mode for a comment I haven’t seen yet:

Did they really add a decent-looking fitness center to the Polynesian, on the ground floor for everyone to see, then specify that it’s only for the DVC side?

If I were a cash-paying guest in a ‘deluxe’ room, I would be so ticked.

I thought it was for all guests at the Poly?

The signage explicitly specifies “guests staying at the Disney Vacation Club of Disney’s Polynesian Villas.”

If that’s truly enforced, it’s quite a slap in the face.
Would be because it faces the Poly side and looked big enough to me to be able to accommodate Poly guests too. Everyone going over to the Tower walks by it, so a bit weird.

Haha that would truly be funny and yea if cash paying that would be annoying especially since it is one of the most well stocked gyms

Seriously, it would be such a small carrot to offer, with guests in the original longhouses now making up a fraction of guests at the Poly.

I could understand the tiny pool being exclusive to the DVC side, but not a (relatively) palatial fitness space at a resort that seriously longed for one.

Very curious to hear if standard Poly guests are truly locked out.

It always surprised me that Poly didn't have a fitness centre for what it charges.

I know most WDW guests likely don't use them, but they are kind of an expected amenity for hotels at that level. It's certainly something I have considered when booking hotels at WDW as I like to get in a run on the treadmill before starting my day, and one of the points in favour of Coronado Springs. Grand Floridian right next-door also has a decent fitness centre.

Most guests staying anywhere don’t use the fitness centers. But they like to know that they can if they wanted too. The poly people need to use the grand Floridians gym

Maybe they want to encourage people to buy DVC? But honestly imagine paying $1k a night for club level at poly and not being able to use the gym.

Compared to all the deluxe-DVC hybrids that came before (including some with fitness rooms in the DVC wing), it’s a seemingly small deviation that demonstrates some real contempt for the non-villa guests.

LOL. I always heard that Poly guests were welcome to use the GF gym facilities if they needed to work out. Imagine a guest being denied entry to a relatively empty Poly DVC gym and being told to walk over to GF to use theirs instead.

Thankfully, the new Poly tower is like 150 feet from the Grand gym…that’s not even a full warm-up.

It did suck while the path was gone, you had to take the monorail to go the the gym. Somehow, that monorail ride always instead turned into a monorail ride to MK for a cinnamon roll.
