They have to find a way to get regular income since the cash deluxe rooms sell oh so well ;)

2042 is coming up close though. Eventually they will "need" more
FYI all of OKW is extended to 2057. Quitclaim means a lot of owners give up rights in 2042. The resort will not end in 2042 though.

The number of OKW owners that did nothing and have a 2042 expiry has been a mystery since the time of the extension.

I had my paperwork that I took the time to get notarized and everything was lost. Not joking. The guide I had at the time called me on vacation to see if I could come in to sign and pay or what ever and I could not (huge family trip). I expected her to send me paperwork again so I could resend it all. It never happened. To add insult to injury this guide put me on a do not contact list that made it impossible to get emails. Three guides since and no one has brought it up again. Technically by the legal writings, I have to either sign a quit claim or pay to extend. Honestly what we would've done in 2008 (I think?) has changed about a dozen times. I would send a check again if that's what they wanted. I just don't push it now since they hosed it up

I apologize if this has already been asked, but have these rooms gone on sale yet, and if not, is there a date when they will be going on sale?
Based on previous timelines probably early 2024.

Maybe I am overlooking them, but I do not see any additional bus stops for the new building? Guess the guests have to walk to GF or to the existing small bus stops at Poly?

I don't see one either. Existing bus stop should be fine. Less buses run due to location anyway. I wouldn't go to GF for a bus though. That's further than people realize.

I ate at Ohana for the first time this past February. My ADR was at 4pm and as I was walking around the grounds, I couldn’t help but notice how crowded the pool was. Like, uncomfortably crowded, people practically on top of each other. Is this normal for the main pool?

Glad I just sold my two DVC properties. Poly was one of them. Does Disney really need more DVC? I mean people are complaining left and right about how mad they are about the way the company has been handling things lately, especially at the parks. Then I've read that Disney stock is down and Disney Plus has had a lot of cancellations recently. And there has been a lot of negative feedback on the Star Wars hotel experience/whatever it was called. The Avatar theme at Animal Kingdom didn't exactly bring in the hoopla it was supposed to but nobody wants to admit that. They were expecting Harry Potter-style numbers with that. Same with the Star Wars stuff, it's been kinda "Meh". Obviously people are now complaining and some have said they don't want to go to the parks right now or they are quitting anything Disney. Something about all these DVC expansions and park expansions is getting kinda of fishy to me. But it really doesn't matter either, because me and hubby have called it a day with Disney World. The place is not worth the money they are charging. The Disney family, especially Walt, are probably fuming at what it's become. I know some people are not Eisner fans, but where is he when the company needs him? I think he was good. But that's just my opinion.
If there is money to be made getting unsuspecting people to sign on to it Disney wants it.

It will be more of a thing when parks are restrictive/expensive/underequipped

Yep! This third pool is needed IMO. Part of why they restricted use like 7+ years ago too. It's tight there. Though definitely livable. I do prefer the Oasis pool for more relaxing swims.
