I just called and the new passholder rates are out. The girl I talked to said the new rates are from August 3rd to September 27th. When I asked what percent off you get with this new passholder rate the girl over the phone said it does not really tell you what percent you get off it just comes up as passholder rate. But we both kinda figured it out by looking at what the rate would have been if I had not booked with a passholder rate or any kind of rate. It looks like it came to about 30% or 25% off. I kinda added it in my head. What I did was a booked a room at the Polynesian at a passholder rate and I kinda compared that rate to what it would have been if it had not been a passholder rate or any kind of rate. The girl over the phone did the same thing I did and she said it came to about 30% off.

One reason why I am editing this post is to say that after I started this thread I got a confirmation email saying that my passholder rate at the Polynesian came to $259 without tax at a standard Garden view room. Without the passholder rate it would have been $340 a night without tax at a standard Garden view room.

You can book online or you can call 407-560-PASS (7227) to make your reservations. The promotional code FKJ.

Here is a link to the page on the passholder website that shows the new passholder room only offer. These new passholder offers are towards the bottom of the page on the Disney website. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...ries?id=PassholdersSpecialOfferCategoriesPage

Keep in mind that the Bounce Back Offer for this time period was actually cheaper than the AP rate.

Last December I booked the BounceBack for Beach Club Aug 19--26 at a rate of 214/night.

Nope. They stated that the FL Resident rates won't be out for a few days yet. Ugh. The guy I spoke with was so rude.

You should take note of their names and the time you called when you get a rude CM....since they are infact CMs still and they're supposed to be providing you with a magical experience. Planning your WDW vacation is just as important as being there! So his job is just as important as On-Stage CMs...

Really? The girl I talked to said the Florida resident rates are out now. Well this girl I talked to might have just thought they were out. One time today when I called this guy checked and said the passholder rates only go up until August 2nd, but I asked him to check again and I told him that I allready booked a room with a passholder that was past August 2nd. When he checked again he found the new passholder rate.

Does anyone know if they are letting Passholders have the FREE dining plan as well?

They they are, but from what I understand based on what cast members have told me over the Reservation line is if you get the free dining than you can't get the room at a passholder rate. I believe you get the room at the same rate as everyone else. So I guess you just have to figure which way you would save more money :ROFLOL:

On this link it has a Room and Dining Packages for Passholders towards the bottom of the page.

I noticed the regular rate for the Poly with a Theme Park View in September is $470 a night, this new AP rate is $389. While that is a savings of $81 a night it is less than the Bounceback offer of 30% off, in fact it is not even 20% off. I am sure we all agree any savings are welcome I just wonder why they don't treat passholders better. Obviously the bookings must still be pretty heavy for that time of year. I hope the offers for December are better or we may not go again this year. I already know flying is going to be alot more expensive.

I've got the Beach Club booked for just my wife and I for the 26th and 27th of Sept at $244 a night...beginning of the Food and Wine Festival! Whoo-hoo...within staggering distance of World Showcase!!! (j/k - neither of us drinks very much at all, and won't then, either)

I changed my reservation to the Old Key West studio room. My passholder rate at the Polynesian Garden view room was great, but I felt like for me the passholder rate at the Old Key West studio room was even better.

The way I figured it out was like this. The normal rate at the Polynesian Garden view room is $340 a night and with the pasholder rate it was $259 a night. The normal rate at the Old Key West studio room is $285 a night and with the passholder rate it's $169 a night. So with the Polynesian I was saving $81 and with Old Key West I was saving $116 a night. Not only that but the percent that I would have off at the Polynesian seemed like around 25 percent and the percent I will have at Old Key West seems more like 35 percent. Anyways all seems to work better for little me  I am not saying it would work better for everyone though.

When I called in the early morning Old Key West was not even showing up at the passholder rate for the days I wanted, so I just booked the Polynesian so I would have something. I was thinking I might change it later and after much thinking I did :) A

We were already booked at the POP 9/24 to 9/30. Two calls tonight, one to a rude CM and one to a nice one saved us some money to spend on more goodies when we go.
