Sounds very intriguing. With any luck this thing'll go gangbusters and get them to pull the trigger on that long-rumored "weather" pavilion at EPCOT.

Sounds interesteing...I think a weather pavillion would be an awsome idea...You could even "Go Green" with the Project and tie in some effects of Global Warming. If would be nice to see them Bring Life back to the Old Wonder of Life Pavillion.

The persistent rumor has been that WoL would turn into a weather pavilion... but right now it's $erving a decent purpo$e for the convention side of things, so who knows if that'll happen or not.

(Or for that matter, who knows if the weather pavilion concept is anything more than a bunch of fans saying "hey they oughta")

Welcome to WDWMagic, by the way!

Hey, I don't know about you guys, but I'm still waiting for the Space pavilion...:hammer:

But, I suppose any new pavilion not themed to Pixar might be nice. :D

Ah yes Hurricane Charlie.....

That was my thought, when my house was getting slapped around to one day make an attraction at WDW.:D
I lived in Cape Coral -right beneath Punta Gorda.

I do think a Weather Attraction would be great. Epcot has touched almost every area of science and weather could be cool.

The new Pixar/Toy Story Hurricane Adventure staring Woody.

This sounds like a pretty neat attraction. Hopefully we'll make it down within the next three years so we can see it!

And I'm all for a Weather Paviliopn, too. I know it would be tempting to just refurbish Wonders of Life into a Weather Pavilion. But putting the SKY between the LAND and the SEAS makes so much more sense. (Not to mention that it would make Future World symmetrical again after almost 19 years.) Besides, WoL has (had?) a very relevant theme and its a shame they're wasting that opportunity right now.

It would also better fot thematically being on the same side as other "natural" elements like land, sea, and humankind (imagination). The other side is more technologically-oriented (now that WoL is gone)

What kind of ticket attraction will this be? I don't think it will be an e-ticket. But it might bring some crowds and lines into Innoventions. This sounds like its more than an exhibit. I can't wait to see it, my family survived hurricane Charley.

I think that Global Warming would be a bit too picky of a topic as it is still debated in the scientific community whether it even exists. But all in all a weather pavilion could be cool.

So why isn't space over there?

That's one thing that's ALWAYS bothered me about EPCOT...It's devided like the human mind(left brain/right brain)so why would Imagination be left?

If WEPCOT is ever built it should be

Land Sea Space Weather/Air Imagination

Trans Energy Technology Health Horizons

I once drew up a map for it...I should post it.LOL

(In a chanting voice) Post it! Post it! Post it!

We should do a separate thread on what would be the perfect park (attraction and theming wise)...
