Please don't make me stand! I do enough of that in the Workd Showcase, trying to concentrate on foreign countries when all I can really think about is how tired my legs are. Call me what you will, but until adult strollers are acceptable, give me a chair!

Yes - I think World of Color is great, but seating would add to it greatly. Please have plenty of seats at this show.

Photo update as of Wednesday, Nov 4. As shown in my post two weeks ago, behind one of the dining pavilions at Flame Tree Barbecue, the concrete structure with the flat top has a faux stone façade. Now, artificial plants and foliage give the faux rocks on this shoreline a realistic look.

Front the dining pavilion, the stone wall looks like this, which hides the show infrastructure behind the wall along the shoreline.

In this view, which will probably be hidden in the future, you can see the installed projectors in the faux rock enclosure, with the holes for the projector lights.

In another area behind Flame Tree Barbecue, workers were installing additional artificial plants and foliage. The island in the lake has already been covered with artificial plants.

View from across the lake, this area next to the faux rock wall at the dining pavilion, is still under construction.

@WDWtraveler, how did the artificial foliage look in person? Was it obvious? Or was it really convincing like what they put on Mine Train?

Thanks as always for the photo updates as well. It was just yesterday I was wondering when your next posts would happen. :)

I agree with the two posters above. The artificial foliage does look real. The plants are of different shades, different textures and size of leaves, and different heights or lengths. They blend in very well with the real plants in the background, both at a distance and up close. The best example is the first photo of my recent post above. Some of those "plants" are faux and some are real. But I couldn't tell even at this close range. Of course, now that people "know" this, your mind will be pre-disposed. But hopefully, most of us will forget to notice.

Photo update as of Tuesday, Nov. 17. The island vegetation has increased.

In this close-up along the shoreline behind Flame Tree Barbecue, the combination of faux and real vegetation, and rock work, completely hides all of the show infrastructure that was installed.

The surface of the walls behind the seating area has been textured and painted in some areas. It no longer looks like poured concrete or concrete block.
