New monorail purple skin

So thats where all the funky colors for the comteporary went...

It's a bit much in my opinion. I would have liked something more subtle

Maybe I missed it, but is purple (now the "hurl express") monorail on the resort loop, TTC loop, or the Epcot loop?

It was on the Resort loop about a week ago, but now it's apparently on the Epcot loop. At least it was yesterday. Since all of the monorails go to beddy-bye at the same location, they switch 'em around to make life more interesting.

I was at Epcot yesterday for Nemo and the monorails that were on were Silver, Orange, and Blue. I did not see no purple monorail. But maybe it came over after I left at 630. When Nemo broke and I decide to go to PI.

I normally cut the good folks over at WDI a fair bit of design slack, but that? Is a frickin godawful mess!!!!

If the whole point is to highlight the YOMD celebration, perhaps the design highlighting said "event" shouldn't overshadow its name... But, you know, I don't have a degree in design or anything... :hammer:

Perhaps they are marketing this more towards a youth market? Personally I like it and my guess is that most of you that don't like it are over 30 years and need to get over it, and yes I am over 30.

It kinda reminds me of a train that has been sitting in the railyard too long and the graffiti artists have had their way with it.

I thought it was on the TTC loop, that's where WDWishes2005 said he went to get the pic of it.

Just an FYI, and I talk from experience here, "get over it" is somewhat of a remark that is instigating in nature. So far we have a very cordial conversation going and it would be nice to keep it that way.

I'm 18 and quite hip, if I do say myself  ....and I absolutely loathe it.

Oops, misread your post. I thought you said he was at Epcot when he saw it. My bad
