New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

Since talking Mickey is leaving in a few months maybe when they switch that Mickey to the non-talking one, they’ll be switching all of them. Unless they switch back to the old Mickey in town square OR they only have the new one there in that location. Still not holding my breath though.

I don't think WDW would want to switch back to the old heads since the newer ones are already seen at the other Disney Parks across the globe (With the exception of Tokyo).
Interesting! So where did these heads come from? Could they be heading to TDR?????

Her head seems like it was down too far. She has no neck lol Not that any of them do, but the heads usually sit a little higher on the performers.

This has to be one of the more interesting ones out of the heads as his bottom eyelids are at half squint like he is really happy. Not sure about this idea why it's like this..

Great to see. Too bad so much else was broken. No Dragon, no fireworks on Steamboat Willie, and not even a Sorcerrer Mickey appearance at the end. I could see one of these things not working by chance, but all three is just bad show quality.

It may come across as happy, but I think it's to show he's supposed to be afraid in this scene. It's old school in its methods, but I appreciate it.

Well at least WDW's Fantasmic got a minor update and it's finally updating the heads.

But, it's such a shame we won't see an honest huge refurbishment for the show down the road. I myself would still like to see a Murphy dragon.

2009 style refurb with Murphy Dragon and effects upgrades: Absolutely
2017 style refurb that messes with the flow of the show itself: Absolutely not
While a refurb is still necessary, I think there's a good chance we've missed the window for a refurb we could deem "perfect". If a refurb ever does happen, we should be cautiously optimistic about the outcome.
