New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

I love it. People aren't even talking about the world tour itself. Just the pose (which isn't even controversial) Mickey is in.

Guys. It's not the dab. Disney wouldn't be stupid enough to have their icon doing a pose with a negative connotation like that.

Please stop with the irrational anger.

The last time Mickey did a world tour was during his 60th birthday back in 1988.

I'm not angry. But I'm a mid 20 something and I thought he was dabbing. So I'm sure others will make the same mistake. I hate the picture.

Well, apparently they did do something for his 80th a few years ago...While not a big marketing thing they at least did a small event in front of Sleeping Beauty castle at DL..

Disneyland Paris just showed the new Mickey and Minnie heads in a new promotional video. I didn't think they were fully rolled out there yet.

I don't believe they are but that doesn't mean they can't show up in a promotional video. They will eventually be everywhere.

They arent - only in the Magician show. But this promo is cut for the entire 25th, so they were thoughtful.

Unlike Disneyland, which slapped the old heads on their new ticket media the day the new heads debuted.

This reminds me of the same situation when Mickey and Minnie's then new heads started showing up randomly at Disneyland and Walt Disney World between 1987 but the 80's heads were still in use until sometime in 1988 or 1989. They were more notable during some later Walt Disney World/Disneyland specials and commercials during those years.

Looking good! When the heads first debuted several months ago, I was skeptical, but they have grown on me to the point where I prefer them over the previous design.

Thanks to loving the new looks made me realize how odd there older eyes look now.

No one ever said they were going anywhere. I'm confused as to why you'd think they were only temporary. I hated them at first but they've grown on me and I actually prefer them now.

I guess the knock off companies said Disney wasn't going to be the only ones with the updated look. This is hilarious to me! But in all honesty the updated knock off doesn't look to shabby lol.

I have never seen knock offs that looked so close to the actual characters. What company is this?
