The lighting bolt has been around way before dabbing became a thing. Its the lightning bolt not dabbing
Google image dab-- it's what Mickey is doing though.

This also isn't the first time Mickey has traveled around the world on his birthday. He even visited the Soviet Union during his 60th Birthday in 1988.This is for a new video of Mickey going around the world that is to promote his 88th birthday (Why this one is important since his 60th I have no clue). Let's be greatful they don't add a dancing old man to this....
That pose has been used since the 70's or 80's.It's not the outfit I hate, it's the pose.
Yeah hes also been to japan,Hong kong,USA and France on his birthday as well as shanghai this yearThis also isn't the first time Mickey has traveled around the world on his birthday. He even visited the Soviet Union during his 60th Birthday in 1988.

I remember years ago I came across news footage of Mickey greeting children of Moscow. I remember even the police officer were smiling when Mickey came by them. I just need to dig deeper.Yeah hes also been to japan,Hong kong,USA and France on his birthday as well as shanghai this year
If you hate the pose so much then you can thank Usain Bolt for popularizing this pose.I've never seen Mickey do it before. Regardless of when it's from, I hate it.
It's a great pose for celebrating a sports achievement, but for a wholesome Disney character I don't think it fits.If you hate the pose so much then you can thank Usain Bolt for popularizing this pose.
Universal Orlando has gotten away with that move with Squidward.I get the feeling that nobody here knows what the "dab" is emulating and it certainly isn't appropriate for the NFL, let alone Disney. Of course what is appropriate for the NFL and a sports hero has eroded so much over the years that I could be wrong on that one.
Because he's not. It's the lightening bolt. And I think at 88, Mickey is allowed to celebrate with a quick pose that's been done for over 40 years at this point.I honestly didn't even realize he was dabbing lol
Disney doesn't usually make a big deal out of Mickey's birthday, but this year they are. And Move It! Shake it! Hate It! (JK) will be doing a special performance for Mickey's Birthday on November 18th, I wonder if thats when they'll finally roll out the new heads? Since their using the new head for the promotion it was just a thought.
This isn't like he hasn't danced in other variations tho...
