New Minnie has been spotted in soundsational, I heard they did this to her in the parade because as you know it may offend people to put a bow on her these days.

edit: it was a joke... her bow fell off during the parade

I'm at Disneyland this week and saw 'Sounsational' yesterday.
Both of the new designs, ' new Mickey' and 'new Minnie', were present on the first float.

Mickey was 'articulated' and looked terrific.
He would 'speak' his lines and then his expression would return to the typical open-mouthed pose.

Minnie looked good too, before her bow fell off!
She must have been the 'same Minnie' that was greeting Guests on Main Street that morning, as I noticed as I walked by her bow was flopping around on top of her head like crazy.

At first I thought it was just noticable because it was the new design, and perhaps her 'new bow' was meant to do this.
After watching her for a minute or two it became obvious to me anyway that this was looking more like her bow was becoming in-attached from her head.
Looks like I was right...
Surprised that the Greeters with her did not notice this!

Well, of course she's 'the same Minnie'. Everyone knows there's only one Minnie and Mickey. They fly around the world at the speed of light like Santa Claus.

The newly designed Mickey and Minnie are now being used Park wide, with one exception.
The stage production 'Mickey and The Magical Map' still features the 'previous model'.
At first I found this odd, but then soon realized the reason is because of the video elements used in the show.
The newly designed Mickey would not match up with the 'previous' version shown during the video segments.

Found that interesting when watching the Show today..so passing it along for those interested.

Maybe in the future when the show goes down for a short break. They might film new video footage with the new Mickey head. I bet that might use the new Mickey head (That moves) for the return of Fantasmic.

I didn't even think about that until you mentioned it! That makes sense.

For those interested....

Out here at Disneyland 'Halloween Mickey' and 'Witch Minnie' are now doing appearances on Main Street to greet Guests in there 'new' appearance.
The really look terrific....the 'new' look of the faces really look nice with these particular seasonal costumes.

As noted previously, the 'new' design is Resort wide in Anaheim now with the exception of Mickey in the stage production ' Mickey & The Magical Map'.

Thought ya'all would like to know....
