New menus at Le Cellier

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
As if i needed any more convincing to do lunch instead of dinner here...... No Cream Cheese Potato on the Dinner Menu!!!!!!!!!

Madness!!!

I've worked here. The food is fantastic! I'm all for them changing up the menu though! As long as the Mushroom Filet Mignon stays I have no complaints. It's nice to try new things. It hurt a little when the restaurant went from 1 to 2 dining points - but I think it's worth 2 points! All those times before we were just getting a ridiculously good deal!

I was on another site today and saw a lunch menu from June that included the shaved prime rib sandwich. Is that really back on the menu? It also had Le Cellier experience that included an appetizer, an entree, and dessert for $30. I don't see those items on the menu here or at Allears.

PSMO? I'm not a chef and no good with acronyms.

Either way, I ditched our lunch ressies. I don't see spending that much for steak for lunch and certainly wouldn't spend those dinner prices for LeCellier. We'll go on over to the Yachtsman instead.

I am curious how what people think of the food since the Signature Dining upgrade?

Is it worth it?

Did they remove tables to give diner's more room?

I find it tough to see some of the same items on the menu still from before and a price increase of +30% for them. The mushroom filet that the OP talked about was $34.99 before and $41.00 as a Signature restaurant or the Cheddar Cheese soup was $6.99 and now $9.00. Is the soup that much better? That's a lot of money!:hammer: It almost seems like the only thing that changed is that Disney is making more money at this restaurant.

I personally cannot find a reason to go in there and eat. Yes, some of the food is good but not worth those prices.

I just checked Disney's web site and looked on the lunch menu there. They are showing a Prix Fixe menu for lunch. It has 3 appetizers (one of which is the cheddar cheese soup:slurp:) several entrees, and a choice between 3 or 4 different desserts. Looks pretty good!

Lunch Items at Dinner?

I Loovvvee the food here!:slurp: Can't get a lunch res. but I did get a dinner one for 4. DH and I will use 2 dining credits each but neither the 11 yr old or picky 17 yr old will eat any of the dinner entrees. Can we order (and pay cash for) lunch items such as a burger and chicken cesear salad for them?

You will be able to pay cash for the kids and dining credits for the adults.

I am not sure they will make special items like Burgers and Chicken Ceasar? They do not even have those options for dinner or even on the kids menu (see below). I would be prepared for them to eat off of the main menu just in case they will not do a special menu. I know the restaurants are very helpful for people that have dining restrictions, but I do not think that would apply here. With any luck they may allow you to order from the lunch menu and everyone will be happy.
