New Hours for Future World

Folks, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Future World hours change to 9pm is in name only.

Land, Circle of Life, Imagination, Captain EO, Innoventions, and Universe of Energy will still all close at 7pm.

To me it's less confusing to guests to have rides "close early" than "stay open later"...just my thought.

Wait wait wait, so this is just BS then. They're not extending park hours, they're just changing the wording.

Instead of closing at 7pm and having xxx rides open till 9, they're closing at 9 and having xxx rides closing at 7.

I'm deeply disappointed. It's exactly the same thing we have going right now!

I never expected there to be an actual operational change. But the "new hours" are less confusing than the old ones. It's also more inline with the other park (where certain attractions close early)

Earlier guesses were correct, then--this is a money saver. Previously, they posted the hours for ALL of the Future World attractions, including those that closed at 7 pm and those that closed at 9 pm. Now, with 9 pm the "standard" closing, they only have to list the attractions closing at 7 pm. Cheaper printing and fewer confused guests coming to guest relations...

I take issue with them not extending LWTL and Innoventions. LWTL should be open as an alternative to the Soarin crowds and Innoventions is wayyyy too prominent to be closed so early. I could understand closing some of the exhibits early but the whole thing shouldn't be shut down.

The other ones, while I don't like them being closed, I can at least understand and accept.

Shame this was only a technicality rather than an actual change.

So yeah, it's basically the same as it was before except Captain EO now closes at 7. I always told people while at Epcot that Future World never really closed at 7, just the attractions that weren't as popular.
