New Hours for Future World

I wonder if any of these attractions will now just be operating at reduced hours instead of saying other attractions are opened past future worlds closing time. Guess we will find out next month.

I'm thinking this is the most-likely scenario. We'll have Future World open until 9PM, but with a few specific attractions ending up with reduced hours posted in the Times guide (and probably a notation in the park map saying "refer to Times Guide").

I don't see anything else changing operationally, it's just a change in how the hours are reported.

While I hope I am wrong, someone prob realized with more opened than closed at this point they use less ink printing the times guide this way.

I don't ever remember World Showcase openin before 11:00AM. That must have been quite a long time ago.

I remember back before world showcase opened at 11am we used to do all of EPCOT counterclockwise starting with Spaceship Earth, Living Seas, The Land, etc.

This will be good for my trip in November, as we don't plan on hitting the parks early that week.

This is the kind of thing TDO needs to do, add additional value to the parks WITHOUT splash, pizzaz, or schmaltz. I'm fine with WS opening at 11am, I feel that getting rides on Soarin, TT, and M:S will take you to 11am, though I think it'd be a neat experiment to see if they'd open Mexico/Canada at maybe 10am for those who want to start early.

Now to make the extended AK hours permanent and add those F! shows back.

This is just one more step in the right direction! For people like us who always end up at Epcot around 4 or 5 pm, we'll have more time to spend on the non-major attractions that we rarely visit due to time constraints. Now if they would just keep the park open an hour or two later ;)

That was my family's method of attack, too. I fondly remember heading up into World of Motion as the sun set, and walking into Horizons while it was lit like a spaceport late at night. :(
