I am not sure how true this is, I will see for myself in a week from now. But if this is one of the views upon exiting the attraction (to your left), then it’s genuinely awful.

That said, I’m having a hard time believing Disney could be this inept with their on-stage show. I’m almost wondering if someone snuck backstage? But if this is really the Guest view, then freaking yikes.

@MisterPenguin Eagerly awaiting your defense of this one... 🫣

What pipes? I don't see no pipes!

The people running the parks now are idiots. At this point, they are almost being aggressive with how much disdain they have for the park's traditional standards for showmanship and professionalism.

Even if they put up a decorative fence here at that white line on the wall, they've still got an industrial electrical outlet sitting "Onstage" on the other side of the fence. Which means you'll ALWAYS have someone parked in an ECV recharging, or have a gaggle of people plopped on the ground recharging their phones, right at the Haunted Mansion exit.

Seriously, who the hell designs this stuff nowadays? It's obvious they've never actually spent any time in the park in the past 15 years to understand how their own customers use the park, and how an open electrical outlet invites ECV recharging, phone recharging, etc.

Instead of taking Immersion Trips to a foreign Ritz-Carlton, WDI should mandate that all Imagineers have to take a two week Immersion Trip to Disneyland. They'd hopefully learn a thing or two about the product they build.

The weathering on the outside helps a lot, I won't lie. But the fence just as you exit looks a bit too see-thru for me, I can't image it'll help that much more with view of the pipes. The issue of the size of the building can't be fixed with paint, either.

I finally got to see the new outdoor queue yesterday, and I'll echo a few comments about it. First, the entire queue is just so well done, and I'm happy they did not add any of the goofy interactive elements from WDW. It's classy and interesting the entire way through. I'll also echo the people saying that the music in the queue (particularly in the last switchback segment near the mausoleum) is hilariously loud and should probably be dropped down a few notches.

As for the shop...yeah, it sucks. It's way too big. I think it if was shrunk by about 30% (or made way shorter) then it looks better, but right now it's just way too big for the space.

The bigger the shop …

They removed the original fake hinges and vastly improved the faux metal work. Looks proper now. My only question is, why on earth was the inital metalwork installed as such???
I was there last night . I think these are different doors finished product as they seemed larger and didn't have the same features as the previous door. Previous doors I was able to see between the doors and no locking mechanism. These sit flush and lock.

Perhaps they installed “fake” temporary doors until the real ones were ready. It wasn’t finished after all, but the walls needed to come down.
